Sarno per me è patria. Ricordo bene la povere dei vicoli di San Matteo negli anni ottanta novanta. Ricordo bene il naso all'insù ad ammirare torrioni che sfidavano e resistono ancora alla forza tenace della gravità. Sarno è sangue come il granata della Sarnese. Come i racconti di zio Nino sulle gesta di calciatori imbiancati dalla polvere della terra battuta, come mitologie rievocate e memorie bambine.
È stato una grande gioia, raccontare la vittoria della Sarnese nel play out di Serie D. Non solo perchè Sarno è il luogo di origine di mia madre e della sua meravigliosa famiglia, ma anche e soprattutto perchè la Sarnese è una società fondata su competenza, rispetto e serietà.
Vedere lo stadio pieno, sentire i cori dei tifosi, osservare e raccontare le gesta dei calciatori e farlo a "casa" è stato, oltre a un vanto professionale non per forza legato a palcoscenici dorati, una emozione umana incredibile che mi ha riportato alla mente con il canto "ci salviamo" una primavera lontana e triste.

Vedere quegli occhi pieni di emozione e avere il privilegio del punto di vista di chi racconta, è il lusso del mio mestiere. Finisce così una stagione ricca, culmine di un percorso non sempre facile, durato anni. La vita accade, dicono, è succede di raccontare l'unica squadra in cui non ho giocato (per motivi che a Faiano conoscono bene), nel primo anno con le scarpette sospese al chiodo più triste e di farlo condividendo una parte di viaggio con questi ragazzi. Il destino è amaro non solo per gli scherzi che decide di compiere ma anche per le nostalgie di un tempo che poteva essere e non è stato. Il ruolo di fotografo sconta poi la marginalità del ruolo che ricopre. Sono stato sempre ad una distanza confidenziale perchè credo sinceramente che la prossimità che richiede la fotografia, obbliga di contro ad ambire ad una certa presunta invisibilità. Non per saccenza, non per arroganza, ma perchè fotografare le storie, implica per il sottoscritto, una distanza che violata, altera la verità del racconto. Nella più banale delle verità sportive però, vincere attiva dei processi che rendono la vittoria più facile, ma abbatte anche le distanze imposte dall'etica che pretendo di dare al mio lavoro. Alla fine, senza più indossare il 7 della giovinezza matura o il 18 degli esordi e dell'addio, questa squadra mi ha fatto sentire parte di una storia bellissima.
Ps: Era doveroso chiudere la stagione con la foto del capitano a fare da copertina, non solo per il valore dell'uomo in questo gruppo, ma anche perchè un po' questo capitano mi somiglia e non mi riferisco al calcio, ma anche per il simbolo di quella fascia che mi riporta alla fotografia di mio nonno con quella stessa fascia, unico motivo per cui negli anni a quel simbolo sono stato molto attaccato.
Grazie a tutti e grazie a Raffaele con cui ho diviso per un po' anche gli odori del campo.

Nella settimana che precedeva il 25 aprile, Roberto Vannacci si è rivisto in Campania. Ha immediatamente tratto l'occasione giusta per manifestare una violenza di linguaggio degna delle più elementari nostalgiche liturgie di chi tra i suoi, non prova la vergogna a definirsi camerata.
Parla di una Napoli antifascista che ha imbrattato la targa della sede di Futuro Nazionale con una scritta eloquente: "il cesso a Napoli lo teniamo già", dicendo: "il vostro cesso non funziona".
Aggiunge che il 25 aprile è festa divisiva, nega la storia indicando come parziale, faziosa, anti patriota, la vicenda di una generazione che ha costretto a considerare l'opposizione concreta a uno dei peggiori crimini del novecento, come fatto universale, fondativo, prossimo alle vicende della Repubblica Romana, dei moti del '48, di Pisacane, del risorgimento.
L'Italia resta divisa nella sua anima ed è colpa di un comunista, quel Palmiro Togliatti che amnistiando i crimini fascisti, perseguendo quelli partigiani con ferocia inversa, in nome di una pacificazione debole, ha consentito alla memoria dei vinti, di essere salvata da una Norimberga italiana che mai fu.
Se oggi, qualcuno può definirsi "orgogliosamente camerata" compiacendo il generale dell'esercito, il parlamentare europeo, proponendosi continuità ideologica del fascismo, mentre si parla ad una riunione politica con decine di persone, con lo stendardo con lo stemma di partito con la scritta Calabria, è colpa del comunismo, di quella teoria ampiamente descritta da Alessandro Barbero che descrive il comunismo una teoria applicata male, contro quel fascismo pensato, concepito, realizzato, concretizzato, defunto, con la sola violenza a scandire i tratti più umani, più disumani, banalità del male, virtù feroce della pochezza umana.
