One of the cutest, vibiest breakfast spots in Guadalajara!
📍 🏛️🥣 - this museum displays works related to their National Ceramics Award and home to beautiful ceramics collections. They are recognized for creativity and cultural legacy.
📍 🏺🎨 - y’all know we love arts and crafts, this was a highlight of our trip! We did a painting workshop in the most charming courtyard.
📍 Our Lady of Solitude Sanctuary ⛪ - located in the heart of Tlaquepaque, this church is known for it’s rich history and role in the local community!
📍 🌵🌮 - this was our favorite area of Guadalajara! It’s a popular day trip destination for its artisan shops, restaurants as well as its artistic charm. We highly recommend grabbing Cantaritos (a tequila drink served in a clay cup) and walking around this area!
📍Guadalajara Cathedral ⛪ - one of the most historic landmarks in the city! The majestic, gothic styled towers will leave you in awe.
📍 📜 - this is the historic cultural center of the city! Famous for the murals in the chapel, by the artist José Celemente Orozco. What once was a hospice and orphanage in the 18th-century, It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and is now a museum with many exhibits.
📍 💀💃 - a temporary theme park that celebrates Dia de Muertos tradition through a magical and immersive experience! It offers a variety of attractions, live performances, food and interactive elements inspired by the holiday. It’s only during October and November.
