Breast checking isn’t about looking for cancer-
it’s about knowing your normal. #AD
When you know what’s normal for your body,
you’re the first to notice when something changes!
I’ve teamed up with to share the 7 signs to look out for:
1️⃣ Lumps or swelling in the breast, upper chest or armpit
2️⃣ A change to the skin, such as dimpling or puckering
3️⃣ A change in the colour of the breast – the breast may look darker, red or inflamed
4️⃣ Nipple changes e.g. it has become pulled (inverted)
5️⃣ Crusting or rash around the nipple
6️⃣ Nipple discharge
7️⃣ Changes in size or shape of the breasts

A lot of people always ask how I am so positive all the time. The truth is I’m not! 😂 I can get in my own head just like everyone else and on this trek, I might not have shown it but I was really struggling. Mentally and physically.
I felt horrible. My body ached so bad, I felt like I had no strength in my legs or my back. My pack felt abnormally heavy yet I had way less in than usual. I couldn’t breathe properly and was getting winded which is not normal 😂 Honestly I had moments where I honestly felt like this was harder than summiting Kilimanjaro!
Then the negative thoughts came in which always do when you feel poorly.
“I’ve lost my fitness.”
“My body can’t handle this anymore.”
“I am no strong enough.”
and so on and so forth.
Then as the symptoms became worse and I started running a temperature… I realised oh I’m actually unwell. Only then did I start to give myself and my body some credit. Instead of thinking how horrible I had been the last 4 days I realised how strong I had actually been 🫣🤦♀️ and how strong my body and mind were to be dealing with the illness and still completing each day and helping others. 😂
I think we can all relate to situations like this where we are not being kind to ourselves or giving ourselves the space to have an off day or week. It is so easy to go down the negative rabbit hole when you are not feeling well.
So I’m here to remind you to give yourself credit, to give yourself a pat on the back and to be kind to yourself, physically and mentally!
Save this for when you need that reminder 😉

You're surrounded by beauty, take a moment to notice and remind yourself how lucky you are 🤩
This was day 1 of our Sahara desert trek in aid of.
We had been on an 8+hr transfer since 4am and had 10km to walk before we reached our first camp in the Sahara desert.
Everyone was eager to get going, get to camp, to “get on with it”, just like most of us do in normal life.
This is a reminder that the moments in between your “here” to “there” are just as important and impactful as your destination.
Stop.
Look around.
Appreciate.
Remind yourself of your luck.
Enjoy.
We all can do more of this in our daily lives right? 🤓

Which moment is your favourite?
I DO record everything because it really does help me during the 15 plus days I month I feel shite from chemotherapy for metastatic breast cancer.
This is how and why it helps:
You remember that this way you feel is not permanent ( it is re-occurring 😂🫠) but not permanent
You realise there is and can be life outside of chemotherapy and hospital visits and all the other crap rubbish you have to deal with constantly
You remember how much you love to laugh.. and dance.. and just be silly, especially when surrounded by your friends
You remember you are not alone even though you might feel very alone at the time
You remember how lucky and grateful you are for the life you currently have even when you have moments of feeling like it is basically over
So record everything is my recommendation! Who cares if you have 88k images on your iPhone and you are out of storage 😂
It’s worth it! And it is a great reminder…
You can do this. You can manage. Sometimes you just need a reminder ✨
Does this resonate?! If so share it, save it and tell me why it did!

To another year of life 🥂
I am grateful for having another year under my belt and I look forward to having another year until I’m 47 😎
Remember that no matter what you are dealing with in life, each day is a gift. Good or bad 🤪
Take the opportunities you are given and make things happen for yourself and just do your best you can in life.
These things you won’t regret!

Last week I was able to share a bit about my story around breast cancer and why it is so important to check your own breasts for 😍
I was able to do my segment in 1 take!
I had never before been fully comfortable with being in front of the camera nor had I had any experience doing so. As I get more experience and exposure to it I quite like it 😂
At the end of the day if my telling of my story and my experiences helps someone else in some way then that is what makes me feel comfortable in front a camera!
A big thank you to for taking all these videos! Otherwise I would not have had anything to show you!
Do you feel comfortable on camera?!?

climb a mountain over 4,000m 🗻
Toubkal is 4,167m tall and is located in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
Toubkal is the 2nd highest point in Africa behind Kilimanjaro and the highest point in North Africa.
Toubkal is not a technical climb but is challenging due to the altitude. Prior to this I had only been up to 3200m yrs ago in the Chamonix valley, pre-cancer diagnosis.
After walking 106km in the Sahara desert to raise money for Breast Cancer I took the opportunity to summit my first over 4k meter peak!
I took this challenge on alone but was lead by a local guide over 3 days.
Day 1 we did 15km and 1500m of ascent to the mountain refuge which was at 3200m where we spent the night. I barely slept as at that altitude you feel like you are not able to breathe properly.
Day 2 was an early morning summit push which would be about 1000m of ascent but just over 3km up. The terrain was very steep and some parts covered with snow. The altitude started to affect my breathing a lot more once we got to 3400m and then at 3900m I was starting to get dizzy and more lethargic.
I was not sure how the altitude would effect me, I had very mild altitude sickness but nothing horribly bad thankfully.
We only spent about 10 mins at the summit as I was concerned about having energy to get back down safely. My legs were already like jelly at this point!
Once back at the refuge I was exhausted and slept the rest of the day. I was too tired to really celebrate or think about what I had accomplished for myslef.
Day 3 was the walk down from the refuge back to the village of Imlil. I felt completely fine that morning as my body had now acclimitised to the altitude and I had slept normally that night!
I love being outdoors, I love hiking and I love life. I don’t want to stop living despite my diagnosis. I know at some point one day I won’t be able to do these things so I take every chance I get…
This is your reminder to not give up, to do the things you dream and to stay fit…
