I know it was a week ago but better late than never! I *really* wanted to use the gold leaf for this piece and I had to wait for the delivery so yeah,,,in the end I don’t know if I’ve ruined the drawing with it lol
also, I made such a mess and my desk is now full of little gold pieces… I’m definitely very golden now I guess lol
it’s not a perfect piece but I’m trying to embrace imperfections (even if it’s very hard because I’m a perfectionist 😭)

When I started to draw on digital I wanted to have more control over mistakes and draw faster than I do traditionally: I wanted perfection. But life is becoming too fast lately. And with the rise of all these new technologies that are so obsessed with “perfection”, art is turning less human… well, this made me rethink of my art a lot.

It was good to spend some time on a personal piece, I *really* missed that!
My sister had this idea about Cassandra and Artemisia as the moon and the sun (I made a sketch a long time ago!) but as knights and it was so good I couldn’t resist and here we are 🙈
Also, I tried the mental canvas thing (you can see it in the next slides!) and it’s SO cool, I definitely have to learn more about it

Happy Halloween everyone! This year me and my sis wanted to make something with our OCs for Halloween and we thought it would be cool doing a lil comic in the vampire au with Cassandra and Joel. I usually write the screenplays with my sis but this time I wanted to give her the opportunity to let her shine because I love how she writes our OCs ♥️
On my behalf, I tried to use different colours than the ones I usually use in order to give a different atmosphere, I was out of my comfort zone but I tried my best!
I don’t know how many people will see this post or will read the comic but thank you to everyone who will spend some of their time to doing so ♥️
