Working alongside Isys Interiors, our team at TOMAK Group Renovations was able to accommodate that last minute change on site. The original wood panels were removed and replaced with reeded glass, giving the space a lighter, more elevated feel while still keeping it functional.
It’s a great example of how strong collaboration and flexibility can take a design to the next level.
As designers, they focus on creative decisions that elevate the overall aesthetic. Our role at TOMAK is to bring that vision to life with precision, coordination, and the right fabrication.
On this project, that meant delivering details like the custom edged feature on the backsplash exactly as intended. It’s a great example of what happens when design and execution are aligned from start to finish.

What's the most valuable (and expensive) lesson a project has ever taught you? 👇🏻
Working alongside Isys Interiors, one of the solutions we brought to life was adding a custom pullout pantry drawer. While there was an existing unit on one side of the fridge, this additional pullout was completely new and designed to maximize storage without taking away from the overall flow of the kitchen.
It’s a simple upgrade, but one that makes a big impact day to day. More storage, easier access, and a cleaner, more functional space for the family.
At TOMAK Group Renovations, we focus on these kinds of practical details that truly improve how a space is used.
We learnt so much along the way with this project. Hours spent on precise locations of every pull out and cupboard. We even added sneaky toe kick drawers to store baking trays. The main pain points for the clients here were poor lighting and lack of storage which we solved for by adding an additional pantry pull out to flank the fridge as well as making sure we had specific spots for all the families gadgets and appliances.
The result is a timeless, functional and beautiful kitchen, perfectly in keeping with this Brooklyn brownstone.

In collaboration with Isy’s Interiors, this feature adds personality, makes the space feel more custom, and is also incredibly functional. Instead of taking up valuable cabinet space, the cookbooks now have their own dedicated spot that is easy to access and visually enhances the design.
It is small details like this that elevate a kitchen and make it feel both intentional and lived in.
