We have celebrated our eighth birthday this year. When we first launched our website in October 2017 - being the first socks brand in Ireland - we didn’t expect to get orders within the first two hours, and certainly we never would have thought we could sell out all 1200 pairs before Christmas that year.
Everyone needs a new pair of socks, every now and again, sure. They carry us during the day, and either give comfort, or ruin each step.
Today we can say that every day, every project, effort and idea gave us pride. We have never compromised on our values, and created a genuine, loving community around the brand.
Or rather, the community has built itself through a shared grá for Ireland, quality and sustainability, and we somehow became the channel for connection, and bond.
Through Irish Socksciety we secured our lives, created employment, helped many, and most of all made friends across the globe. We get visitors knocking at our office, randomly popping in for a cuppa, sharing stories of the banter, their heritage, worries and joys.
This business is not our work, it is our life. A life we truly love.
