To celebrate the launch of their Easter beer, Brouwerij ‘t IJ asked multiple artist to decorate eggs. They will be displayed at the Eggshibition at Saturday April 4 (with music and lots of beer of course).
My egg celebrates new life in Spring, but no cute chicks or rabbits here. I wanted an ode to the real unsung heroes of new garden life: the critters, the crawlies, the insects! 🐞🪳🐜

I am very grateful to have been given the time and space to create so much new personal work that otherwise probably wasn't made due to time (I don't think I've ever been more productive!). I realise it's so important to keep making personal work for your style and voice to grow. I will definitely create more room for my own illustrations in the future, and hope to have the opportunity to do more exhibitions.
I will put the artwork and photos of the show later. For now, a well-deserved holiday! I'm travelling to Kyoto, Nara and Osaka for a week before turning back home. You can follow my stories if you're interested 🏯 See you soon!
