For the appetizer, we tried the Homemade Qui Cai. It is a crispy chive cake with spicy soy vinaigrette, and it was delicious! The texture was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very satisfying!
We ordered the Mama Pad Kee Mao Beef, which was very aromatic from the peppercorns and had a strong spicy kick. If you love spicy noodles, this dish is for you! We also got the Pad See Ew and what we think is one of the best Pad Thai in the Bay Area! The Pad Thai had perfectly balanced flavors and was very delicious. We also tried the Pla Pad Cha, another flavorful dish! The sea bass was fresh, covered in amazing sauce, and paired very well with rice. However, our favorite dish of the night was the Nooke’s Ka-ree Koong, which is sautéed tiger prawns in a creamy egg curry sauce. This dish was simply amazing and full of flavor! The Tiger Prawns was cooked perfect, and the sauce was very addicting!
We ended our meal with a beautiful and unique Thai dessert, the Dok Jok. It is a crispy Thai flower cookie served with pandan ice cream, along with other sweets and sticky rice at the bottom. This dessert looked and tasted amazing! We were also very surprised when we found other sweets and sticky rice at the bottom of the ice cream. This is such a splendid dessert and so delicious! What an amazing find!

🩶 The Regular tier includes appetizers, noodle soup, grilled items, and many choices of their signature and classic rolls. They offer raw sushi rolls, cooked or baked rolls, and you can ask for half portions if you want to try more items!
🤍The Premium tier includes all that the Regular tier offers, their nigiri selections and other special items. We tried the salmon nigiri, fresh oysters, and a refreshing sashimi salad. However, our favorite roll is the Boujee Roll. This roll is so delicious and comes with lobster tail tempura! I could eat this roll all day!
The waiters were kind and attentive as well, always checking to see if we were doing okay. It was a great all-you-can-eat sushi experience

🥔 We started with a very interesting appetizer, the DIY Potato Salad. You can mash the potatoes to your preferred texture and add different toppings for more flavor. It was a fun and unique experience!
🍗 The Nagoya-style wings were coated in a sweet and savory Nagoya pepper sauce. They were very tasty!
🐙 The Kushi-Age, a deep-fried squid leg skewer, was very crunchy and delicious.
🐟 The main highlight was definitely the Seafood Bowl, and we ordered all three options: the Ume Bowl, Take Bowl, and Matsu Bowl. Each bowl comes with rice topped with minced tuna, Hokkaido scallop, snow crab, tobiko, and other seafood based on the bowl you choose. Lot of seafood in one bowl! You start by rolling the rice and seafood with nori seaweed to make your own sushi roll. After that, you can mix everything in the bowl with their house-made soy sauce and eat it directly.
🍵 I highly recommend upgrading your bowl with the Ochazuke Set! This is added at the end of the meal with a small amount of rice and seafood. You mix in rice crackers, aosa seaweed, sesame, and marinated salmon, then pour hot dashi broth over it. It really hits the spot and is the perfect way to finish your seafood bowl!
🦐 We also ordered snow crab and jumbo shrimp and squid tempura as extra toppings and side dishes.
🍸 For drinks, we could not skip the Japanese matcha beer and plum wine. Plum Wine is my fave Japanese drink that I discovered during my last trip to Japan!
🍨 For dessert, we got the Japanese churros served with green tea ice cream, and it was gone in seconds!
This was such a unique and authentic Japanese dining experience, and we are so happy to have it close to home!

☕️ This time, we tried the Vienna Einspanner Latte, which is topped with house-made cream. This drink was amazing! It was frothy, rich, and had the perfect sweetness to balance the strong coffee flavor.
🥪 This place is also famous for sandos for a quick bite. The bread was very fluffy, and all of them were tasty. They offer both savory and sweet options, so we tried the Japanese Egg Salad Sando, Chicken Salad Sando, and Strawberry Sando. No matter what you are in the mood for, there is a sando for everyone!
🍌But we’re here for the seasonal items, so we tried the Banana Cream Can and the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. The Banana Cream Can is made with real bananas and silky banana pudding. It was delicious and had just the right level of sweetness! The Banana Pudding Matcha Latte was another favorite! It combines premium matcha from Japan with milk and creamy banana pudding. It is another great new item! Always enjoy our visit to Robu Coffee when we are in the area!

✨ We started with the Giwa Special Salmon Tower. It is smoked salmon served with fresh onion, tomato, lemon slices, avocado, cream cheese, and guacamole, and it comes with plain bagels. The presentation was beautiful, and it was very refreshing! The Loco Moco comes with a Korean-style marinated Wagyu beef patty. The patty was juicy and full of flavor! We also ordered the Korean Pork Cutlet, which was fried perfectly and topped with house-made tonkatsu sauce. The sauce really stood out and made the dish even better! We tried both pasta dishes as well. The uni in the Creamy Uni Pasta was fresh, and we added Hokkaido scallops for extra flavor. This pasta has a bold taste, and seafood lovers would really enjoy it! However, the Lemon Garlic Lobster Pasta was the star! It was creamy, well balanced, and absolutely delicious. It was so addictive that one bite was not enough! Finally, everyone’s favorite dish was the US Wagyu Steak! The Wagyu beef was cooked to a perfect medium well and served with Yukon potatoes, fried corn ribs, and Giwa green sauce. The beef was soft and tender, and the sides and sauce paired perfectly with it. Highly recommend to try this dish!
✨We also got Sunrise Mimosas to go with our meal. So refreshing! We learned that they offer takeout for drinks, so we ended up taking some of their drinks and coffee home. This place is truly an amazing brunch find!

🪄 AURA made its first visit to the US in San Francisco after captivating millions of visitors in Montreal and Paris. This is a 45-minute immersive 360-degree experience that transforms every corner of Grace Cathedral’s interior architecture into a canvas of light. The show features high-quality visuals, storytelling, music, and state-of-the-art projectors. It was absolutely beautiful, and the cathedral’s acoustics truly elevate the music!
🪄 Here is a pro tip, I would recommend to come early and sit in the middle or back area. The cathedral interior is huge, with very high ceilings. Sitting in the middle or back allows you to enjoy the views so much better and is also easier on your neck since you will be looking up during the show. What a great attraction and family-oriented experience!

We’re home on Christmas Day! We start with presents and hot chocolate…We don’t open lots of gifts this year because most of them are gift cards, but we got TJ’s Mini Tote as our stocking and Micro Tote for our Christmas Condiments this year! 🤣
Christmas Lunch, we celebrate Christmas with my cousin, we had delicious ribs with mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, veggies, and amazing desserts made by my niece! The apple cake was sooooo delicious!
For Christmas dinner, My friends and I decided to have KFC for christmas like in Japan but found out KFC is close on Christmas Day, after hours calling restaurants, we finally got open, so we ordered couple chickens to share and it was sooooo goood! The chicken was tender and juicy, and cheese sauce is our favorite!
