Once one DIY project is done, it’s time for the next one.🤭
I used the following materials:
-3 IKEA Lack tabletops
-Pattex glue bohren statt kleben
-Mosaic tiles
-Tile grout
First, I cut one LACK tabletop down by 4 cm. Then I glued the tabletops together and secured them with Tessa to keep everything in place.
To give it more stability and support, I screwed several screws into the tabletops.
Next, I cut the mosaic tiles to size and attached them to the surfaces with glue. Finally, I filled the joints with grout.
Wiped down and cleaned—the side table is finished ✨.

I’m totally happy with the result. It gives me exactly the mid-century/space-age vibe I was hoping for! ☺️
Here are the materials you’ll need:
-A canvas (mine is 50x70 cm)
-A roll of paper towels
-Paper glue
-Mirror mosaic tiles (I chose the 1.5 cm size; the mirror mosaic tiles are linked in my DIY Highlight)
-Pattex Glue „Kleben statt bohren“ (also linked in the DIY Highlight)
First, I folded the paper and glued it to the canvas with paper glue. To add more movement and tension, I folded the paper thicker in some places and thinner in others. I wanted to create a nice three-dimensional effect. ✨
In the second step, I covered the canvas with mirror mosaic tiles. I used the Pattex glue for this. I also covered the edges. That actually took me many hours. 😅 To cover the entire surface, I broke a few mirror mosaic tiles into smaller pieces.

💡Here’s a little tip that’s often not shown in videos: positioning the mirror panels looks easier than it actually is. 😅 I recommend securing the adjacent mirror panels with Tessa to get a clean edge.
