This frame with a mother humpback whale and her calf happened in complete silence — just drifting in the blue with my camera while the calf slowly moved closer and the mother hovered protectively nearby. Captured this fruit bat skimming the water just long enough to wet its fur before heading back to the trees. Once perched, they’ll lick the water from their fur to rehydrate — one of those small wild behaviors you rarely get to witness, let alone photograph.
