On Saturday in Oxford, on my first time representing Surrey County, I won the Southern Inter-Counties 400m ๐ฅ with a Championship Record time, in practically a solo run.
On Sunday in Stratford on tired legs, in the rain, I closed out my season with 48.07 for 2nd place in a good field.
Doesnโt move the dial, but itโs good to compete well and reinforce positive habits in less than favourable scenarios!
This season has had it all, but Iโm happy that Iโve improved on what I can deliver on my average days, I havenโt let my disappointments discourage me and Iโm leaving with 2 long-awaited personal bests.
