Baby Henry Scott came into the world in the most tranquil way. He is so serene and already brings us endless joy. We are completely obsessed and in love!
My water broke at 5:30am on the 29th and we headed to the hospital. Sweet Henry waited until Vovó arrived from Brazil to make an appearance! He arrived on the 30th in the middle of the night and decided to share a birthday with my friend. 💙
Endless gratitude to my friend and her family, who were God sent and angels; they made the trip to Rhode Island possible for my mom to arrive on time for the delivery. For Staci Waller and her girls that stayed with my girls until Aunt Hillary arrived!
Aunt Hilly —also known as my doula, photographer and night nurse- made it just in time. She captured these gorgeous photos and supported me every step of the way. Rubbed my back! Helped with everything! Going above and beyond as always! We love her so much!
I’m so thankful for my incredible labor & delivery nurse Justice at Women & Infants, and the Brazilian anesthesiologist who came in and me salvou! 😂 Truly saved me. (If you know me, you know I’ve had very traumatic birth experiences, from delivering via forceps a 10lbs baby and an unmediated birth as well… and this birth truly healed me in ways I didn’t know it was possible!)
And my amazing husband… I fall in love with him all over again every time I see him become a dad. My absolute favorite. Thank you for all the food runs and for becoming the best boy dad. 💙👶
