The answer is not a number you can simply put on a label.
It’s a process with many stages, from pattern work and toiles to fittings and hand finishings.
This post takes you behind the scenes and shows why handcrafted dresses can’t be rushed and shouldn’t be.

Last year was filled with incredible brides, meaningful fittings, and wedding days that truly reflected the women wearing the dresses. From quiet and sometimes emotional trial appointments and fittings to seeing your photos afterwards and reliving it all through your eyes... it never gets old. Thank you to every bride who trusted me with such an important part of their day.
Here’s to everything 2026 will bring and to all the future brides we can’t wait to meet 🤍

Bridal Gown & Veil
This lovely bride chose to wear an dress and veil...
“I got my dress from designer Miina at Indie Bride London. The experience was amazing - her showroom is in a church in Oval and the space is so warm and intimate. I had a lot of fittings so I visited multiple times, the experience was always fantastic.
It made such a difference to not be stood in a shop full of people bustling around. Time to consider and discuss each tiny detail. Talking to Miina about her process, designs and the way she finds her fabrics was always so inspiring (I wish I could keep going back!)
As someone who has a textiles background fabric really mattered to me. I tried on so many dresses full of itchy tulles and stiff satins. Then I tried on Miina’s. The fabrics are sustainable, luxurious, breathable and just flow so beautifully. You can tell how well considered every single part of her construction/design is. I have a real gripe with synthetic lace and I wanted something that looked antique without it disintegrating when worn. Indie brides laces are all traditionally made and you could not tell them apart from an antique.”

From forest walks and fairy lights to a cosy celebration at Shustoke Barn, Katharine and Jack’s wedding was deeply personal and full of autumnal vibes. Katharine’s dress journey took her from black, to green, to medieval inspiration, before finding the one: a boho 70s gown with custom sleeves that felt completely her.
