Jacquemus Spring 2027

Thank you to the team for having me on this amazing trip to Corscia!
A beautiful collection and breathtaking show location for Jacquemus Spring 2027 Collection in Corsica.
It looks like the next Vogue World in 2027 may be hosted in the tech capital of the world: San Francisco. A friend of mine snapped a photo of Anna Wintour at the Gap headquarters in SF walking around with Gap Creative Director Zac Posen. There’s also been other reports that she was seen around the city scouting locations with a film crew.

I would assume that hosting this big fashion event in the Bay Area is to help align Condé Nast with tech companies, who have continually pushed to be part of the fashion world.

Big tech has looked to become more involved in these cultural events, such as sponsoring the Met Gala and buying their own tables for the fundraiser. Mark Zuckerberg himself is also pushing his new Meta glasses to be the new must-have fashion accessory, so I wouldn’t be suprised if Bay Area companies like Meta, Google, or Netflix headline Vogue World next year.

What do you think of big tech’s growing presence in fashion?
Today Jimmy Choo unveils its latest Summer 2026 men’s campaign, photographed on location in the British countryside, featuring flower grower and model Alfie Nickerson. Through a series of photos and video, Alfie celebrates the natural and transient beauty of his favorite flowers, evoking a British summer that is unhurried and quietly considered. Alfie embodies the spirit of the Jimmy Choo man, confident and playfully irreverent.

The new men’s collection by creative director Sandra Choi, is tightly curated and built around elevated archetypes, presenting a contemporary take on quintessential British style. Which style is your favorite?
It’s been 5 years now since Bottega Veneta wiped away their social media presence while Daniel Lee was still the creative director for the brand. At the time it felt like an interesting approaching, but now it feels like Kering’s third largest brand is rarely discussed online outside of fashion week.

While Bottega Veneta has been the most steady brand in their portfolio, Kering must recognize the importance of brand visibility online for growth.

I also think Bottega Veneta is doing a disservice to Louise Trotter, by not giving her the marketing tools required to promote and sell her designs. So I think it’s time for Bottega Veneta to bring back its Instagram to help her and the brand return to growth.

Do you think Bottega Veneta should bring back their Instagram?
Matthieu Blazy’s first Chanel collection arrived in stores earlier this year and ignited a Chanelmania among customers. This led to popular items selling out quickly and long lines out the door. Now, Blazy’s second collection, the Métiers d’art 2026 collection that he showed in New York last December, is starting to arrive in select boutiques around the world.

The Métiers d’art collection exists to showcase the artistry of the specialized workshops Chanel works with, featuring intricate hand-applied details and specialized materials. So here are the prices for some of the unique pieces we saw on the runway for this show.

Do you think Chanelmania will continue for Blazy’s second collection?
Putting on any event in the middle of Times Square is incredibly expensive due to the city permits and logistics required to pull off a successful event. Gucci managed to do just that, making their latest Cruise show one of the most expensive runway shows of all time.

In Cathy Horyn’s recent review of the show for The Cut, she confirmed with Gucci CEO Francesca Bellettini that the cost for everything was nearly $10 million.

When breaking it down, the costs for street and business closures, production, and using the digital billboards in one of the biggest tourist areas in New York City can add up quickly.

Do you think this was money well spent?
After Jonathan Anderson presented his Dior Cruise collection in Los Angeles last week, he spoke with Italian news outlet MF Fashion about the collection and the significance of the show location.

One of the more interesting quotes, Jonathan stated that he will be working on three new film projects with Dior within the next 12-months.

It’s clear that luxury houses are becoming more associated with Hollywood films now, to not only align with creative talent but also because films get discussed, earn awards, and help attract a wider range of aspirational consumers.

Do you see Dior starting its own film production company?
In a surprise to many, including myself, one of the most famous athletes of all-time, Tom Brady, walked in the recent Gucci Resort 2026 show in Times Square wearing a black fitted leather jacket with matching leather pants. The moment I saw it, I immediately thought of the famous photo of David and Victoria Beckham in matching Gucci leather outfits from Tom Ford’s Gucci Spring 1999 collection.

Seeing Demna recreate this iconic look, first worn by one of the greatest athletes of all-time, David Beckham, and now worn by another all-time athlete in Tom Brady, was just perfect. The Gucci team’s casting and styling couldn’t have been more fitting to recreate this famous look.

What did you think of the Gucci Resort show?
After a year of persistent rumors about LVMH shopping the Marc Jacobs brand, a deal has finally been agreed up to sell the business to WHP Global, ending a 30-year partnership with LVMH.

LVMH has moved to lighten its fashion portfolio in recent years, starting with selling Off-White in 2024, its stake in Stella McCartney back to its founder in 2025, and now Marc Jacobs in 2026.

According to Marc Jacobs himself, he stated that he will continue to be the Creative Director to ensure continuity of the brand’s vision.

What do you think the new ownership can do to help grow and expand the Marc Jacobs business?
