The Caloundra Lighthouses built in 1896 and 1968 are two heritage listed, lighthouses located on the top of the hill on Canberra terrace in Caloundra. The old lighthouse is the oldest remaining building in Caloundra. The new lighthouse was one of two of this type of lighthouse constructed in Australia with the other, on Lytton Hill, being demolished in the 1990s leaving the Caloundra lighthouse as a completely unique lighthouse in Australia.
While it was cool to see these buildings, the sunset from across the street was its own sight to see!
