mi ha contattato nel 2020. Ero, e sono, acerbo nel settore del design, interni, architecture e tutto ciò che ci ruota attorno. Mi ha però dato fiducia, per alcuni side projects, certo, ma il vero punto è che ha voluto darmi fiducia. Lo ringrazio moltissimo per questo. Sono estremamente felice di averlo incontrato e di aver accettato di mettermi in gioco.
Sono sempre stato all’angolo, lavorando nella mia comfort zone, ho provato poche volte, prima della collaborazione con, settori che non fossero quello degli eventi e della ritrattistica.
Posso dire di essere diventato più poliedrico nel mia fotografia seppur, lo riconosco, con moltissimi limiti ancora da superare. È ovvio, nessuno può essere bravo (o addirittura perfetto, eheheh) in tutti i settori ma sono altrettanto convinto che sia necessario rimboccarsi le maniche e mettersi alla prova.
Per questi scatti, oltre a Matteo, voglio ringraziare e per averci aiutato e supportato (anche sopportato in effetti 😂).
Cosa raccontarvi di me riguardo questi set? Beh ragazzi, ho sudato freddo forte in questi momenti, davvero tanto. Pressioni? I-N-F-I-N-I-T-E è dire poco. Persone, spazi, staging, idee, colori, tempistiche, tutto da rispettare. Un casino, un enorme casino.
Spero solo ne sia uscito qualcosa di carino anche per l’occhio del lettore.

Sembra tutto così semplice quando si pensa ad un ritratto. In effetti lo è, tecnicamente parlando: luci, diaframmi, tempi, click. Non serve altro. Da qualche tempo, quando scatto, però, mi trovo di fronte un ostacolo parecchio alto, la banalità. Più si scatta e più la banalità, lo scatto scontato senza anima, è dietro l'angolo. Sembra ancora tutto così semplice? Riuscire a scattare in modo unico, seppur semplice, facendo trasparire emozioni che molto spesso non si ha nemmeno il tempo di sfiorare, crearsi uno stile, farsi riconoscere senza scrivere il proprio nome sotto ad una foto, credetemi, non è per nulla semplice.
Vorrei raccontarvi queste difficoltà con questo set improvvisato, con una ragazza nuova, senza particolare esperienza, molto breve (1 ora più o meno), in una location mai vista (bella casa ). Sarebbe stato semplicissimo riproporre le solite 4 pose per portare a casa buoni scatti.
Spero di essere andato oltre la banalità degli scatti. E voi, avete mai avuto a che fare con questi problemi?
Mi hanno chiesto di raccontare il menù a 4 mani preparato dal maestro chef e dalla fortissima chef. Ammetto che è stato davvero difficile. Le pressioni erano parecchie. Le luci? Mamma mia che disastro le luci di una cucina a livello fotografico. Devo davvero commentare anche la luce di sala?
Avete presente il film d'animazione "Inside Out"? Avete presente ciò che succede nella testa di Riley? Ecco, nella mia testa, in quel momento potevate trovare un casino simile.
Inauguro questo 2023 con un cambio di rotta a livello narrativo. Vi porterò con me (ovviamente a livello fotografico), tra i miei pensieri e considerazioni. Vi farò conoscere più di quello che mi trovo a raccontare, vi lascerò alcune pillole fotografiche, sparse qua e là.

NY disappointed me, I'm honest. In fact I just had the impression of being disappointed, maybe I was biased and my mind got the upper hand.
I have always imagined NY as an arrival point and what I saw raped me: closed shops, people running around with their take-away, nobody talking except with their iPhone, skyscrapers too tall and individualistic, a few gathering moments among friends. Do people exist in NY or are they simple holograms programmed to bite an apple and let it drop to the ground deprived of a piece of its soul?
I believe that this dystopian thought of mine has been collected in these images.
They don't want to be beautiful images, they want to be moments.

I colori caldi rendono l’atmosfera della giornata, un momento di ritrovo pieno di felicità e amore. Samantha e Jacopo hanno costruito un piccolo nido, allargato solamente ad amici e parenti stretti. È lo specchio della loro anima, candida e semplice.
Questa loro peculiarità mi ha fatto scegliere questi toni vintage, caldi, accentuati da un verde carico. Tutto ciò rappresenta il loro carattere: intimo e riservato ma estremamente romantico.
Siete stipendi assieme, non dimenticatelo mai!

Ci sono state un sacco di peripezie, un’organizzazione della fotografia in 2 ore, nulla era programmato. A loro bastava un ricordo, foto semplici, come loro. Beh, sappiate una cosa, il ricordo me lo hanno lasciato loro. Una coppia splendida, una di quelle che si guarda ancora fissa negli occhi e, senza parlare, si capisce e si ama. Una coppia acqua e sapone, senza costruzioni, giovane e spensierata.
A scrivere queste parole ho la pelle d’oca, i brividi freddi perché loro valgono molto di più di queste foto e di questo testo.

Con le emozioni di Vanessa e Matteo ho deciso di mostrarvi a pieno il mio modo di approcciarmi al mondo fotografico. Non voglio più trattare il massimo canone estetico quale unico fondamento fotografico. Ho deciso di voler mostrarvi anche le più celate emozioni, i dettagli e, chissà, magari anche gli errori che contraddistinguono il mio lavoro.
Durante un matrimonio mi dono per 12, 14, alle volte 16 ore a una coppia che ha riposto in me piena fiducia. Da brividi, vero? Questi orari, lo stress, la pressione spesso ci fa tentennare. Ebbene sì, anche se non si direbbe, noi fotografi siamo persone, non siamo automi. Ci capita di sbagliare, più spesso di quanto mostriamo in effetti. Qualsiasi cosa accada, qualsiasi siano gli imprevisti, qualsiasi sia la fatica, però, metto sempre tutto me stesso per regalare sorrisi durante la giornata ma, e soprattutto, alla consegna del lavoro finito.
Se siete in dubbio riguardo a fare qualcosa, lasciatevi guidare dal cuore, resterete sempre soddisfatti.
