These are furin, traditional Japanese wind chimes often made of glass, with a small strip of paper that dances in the breeze. Sometimes, people also write short wishes or messages on it.
I chose to represent furin in this animation because they are closely connected to wind for this theme of our Planet Week challenge 🍃

My art style change a lot from 2019 to 2025, I wanted to share with you something more personal about my art journey. I haven't always had a style, I used to have to learn on my own, with tutorials, watching how other artists did it. I went through many different styles and inspirations before finding something that suits me, and even today I know that my illustrations and animations will surely change over time. if you haven't found yours, don't panic, it takes time and patience. without realizing it, you'll surely find your way. ✨
for my part, i've fallen in love with illustrations that tell the story of the simplest moments, those that don't need words to describe them, those that you look at and feel at the same time. i hope that what my animations tell in any case is the same. 💌
