nello scatto possiamo ammirare dall'alto la caratteristica forma a goccia del centro storico di questo piccolo borgo ciociaro.
Il paese è adagiato ed immerso tra le falde occidentali del Monte Cairo, il versante settentrionale del Monte Asprano con le vicine cime del Ciamurro, Grotta, Forcella, Monticello, Occhio.
Il centro storico elevato a 540 metri di altitudine, si rigira stretto e perfino in tratti angusto intorno alla torre dell'antico maniero e alla chiesa parrocchiale che svettano rispetto ai tetti delle case.

La denominazione "Simbruini" deriva dal latino "Sub Imbribus" e cioè "sotto le pioggie", data l'abbondanza presenza di precipitazioni in maniera molto maggiore rispetto alle località limitrofe.
Visitare la cascata è molto semplice, essa si trova tra la confluenza del fiume Anime e il Simbrivio nei pressi dell'area archeologica di Comunacque a poca distanza dal segnale di confine sulla strada provinciale 193 tra la Provincia di Roma e di Frosinone, l'ideale per una giornata di trekking nella natura incontaminata.
