Un anno fa iniziava questa avventura, da solo, ponendomi un obbiettivo che apparentemente mi sembrava impossibile. Oggi, guardo quellβobbiettivo con un sorriso, pensando a quanto la vita posso sorprenderti e renderti felice.

EΜ un gesto che ho sempre fatto con naturalezza, ma non avevo mai riflettuto su cosa ci fosse dietro.
Fra le tantissime cose che ho imparato c'eΜ questa, che il mondo si divide in due categorie: quelli che passano il piatto al cameriere, e quelli che non passano il piatto al cameriere.
Quelli che ti passano il piatto sono quelli che ti vedono, si accorgono che sei liΜ che ti stai facendo un culo tanto, e allora quando hanno finito e tu ti palesi davanti a loro per portare via il piatto sporco, lo sollevano, te lo porgono, di modo che tu non debba ogni volta sporgerti, col rischio magari di far cadere una posata dai piatti che hai giaΜ in mano. Di solito ti dicono anche "Grazie", come non fossero loro in realtaΜ ad averti fatto un favore.
Un gesto da niente, non costa nessuna fatica. Ma un gesto che dice tutto.
Ho sempre amato quelli che ti passano il piatto, percheΜ sono quasi sempre persone molto umili, riconoscono la tua dignitaΜ, non trattano come un servo il cameriere: lo sanno quanta parte ha la fortuna nel fatto che loro sono seduti liΜ a mangiare e lui laΜ in piedi a farsi il mazzo.
Non eΜ che sei arrivato quando hai folle oceaniche che ti osannano o conti in banca faraonici.
Sei arrivato quando ovunque tu sia arrivato, sei ancora uno che passa il piatto al cameriere."

Ma eβ proprio in mezzo alle difficoltΓ che credo fermamente che ci si possa distinguere.
Non vogliamo essere ipocriti, e siamo certi di essere stati fortunati rispetto a tanti altri, ma anche per noi, sono arrivati periodi dove la sera abbassavamo la saracinesca, in attesa di qualche decreto, non sapendo se il giorno lβavremo potuta rialzare.
Eppure, noi siamo sempre stati lΓ¬, giorno per giorno, un sorriso dopo lβaltro,nella nostra casa, cercando di farla sentire anche un poβ la vostra.
Non posso nascondere la mia emozione nel pensare che un anno fa partiva la mia avventura tra mille domande, diventate ad oggi certezze.
Sono orgoglioso di poter dire, in un anno dove i tagli del personale sono allβordine del giorno, di aver integrato due ragazzi allβinterno del mio negozio.
Non posso che ringraziare tutte le persone che dal primo giorno hanno creduto in me e hanno βtifatoβ per la mia barberia.
