A moment of light: For the first time in Israel, a dedicated statuette has been awarded to Israel’s Eurovision representative. It was designed by two first-year students from the Industrial Design Department at Bezalel: Lotus Lahav, who survived in the safe room of her home in Nir Oz, and Eden Carmi.
The statuette was created as part of a special competition held in collaboration between the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation and the Polonsky Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem.
As part of the initiative, the winners created an official series of statuettes that will be awarded to Israel’s Eurovision representatives in the coming years, becoming a permanent symbol of Israel’s representation in the competition.
