2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣4️⃣ two dreamers, one balcony, and the wild idea to start a gym. I came up with Iconic Fitness and CrossFit Duo, because it was just the two of us.
We started with 5 clients each in our apartment building. No mirrors, no reception. Just passion 🔥
From small group sessions to opening our first space in Damac Waves Tower, hustling before the gym was even built, to running every class, expanding, and eventually…. moving to Dream Tower 2. Good times running 2 gyms back to back 😅
Then 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ 🦠 hit
We pivoted. Zoom classes, mental check-ins, taping 2m workout zones and I was 9 months pregnant.
We came back stronger. Built a community that was real, raw, and empowering.
By 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ trends took over — flashy bathrooms, filters, Hyrox and we didnt compete. We stayed authentic.
After 10 iconic years… it was time to evolve.

10 years ago, what started as a dream became a reality. From an idea… to a name… to building a gym community from scratch: Iconic Fitness was born in the heart of Dubai Marina.
We became the first CrossFit affiliate in the Marina. We moved from a small box in Waves Tower to a bigger space within 2 years of operating. We survived the pandemic!
We competed, locally and regionally, representing our name with pride and purpose. We celebrated PRs, transformations, and milestones inside four walls that came to feel like home.
I’ve dreaded this moment, but it’s time to share that Iconic Fitness will be closing its doors 🥺 This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. But with every end comes new beginnings, and I know it’s time to move on to something that will challenge me in new ways: mentally, emotionally, and physically.
I’m so incredibly proud 🥲 of what Iconic became. Not just a gym, but a community. A place of friendship, strength, resilience, and unwavering support.
To every member, coach, supporter, and friend: THANK YOU 🙏! You were part of a legacy that will always mean the world to me.
From 2014 to 2025 — Iconic wasn’t just a fitness space. It was a movement. A family. A dream come true 🧡
