茨城町で開催された｢ひぬまあじさいまつり｣が無事終了いたしました。
午前中は雨も降っていましたが、さすがお祭り！
悪天候の中でしたが、思っていた以上にたくさんの方々が来てくださいました
ご来場くださったみなさま、ありがとうございました
ゼロイバで捕獲し、卒業していった子たちも遊びにきてくれました
幸せな姿を見ることは、励みになるし、私たち自身も幸せな気持ちになれます

今回、地元住民の方への啓発のための参加でしたが、茨城町町議会議員さん始めたくさんの方々とと繋がることができ、今後の活動にも繋げていけたらと思いました

茨城県でも特に野犬の多い小美玉市・茨城町の野犬成犬メス（子育て中の場合その子犬も）を、2024年10月末から約1年半で、約115頭捕獲しました。
現地には外飼い未避妊のメス犬もまだまだたくさんおり、野犬とかかってしまっては子犬を産み、育った子犬が野犬化してしまう、という現状が少なからずあります。
そのような現状を改善すべく、外飼い未避妊のメス犬たちに避妊手術をしてもらうための啓蒙をしていくことにいたしました！
手術費用はゼロイバのご寄付から捻出させていただきます。
本来なら手術費用は飼い主が全額負担すべきですが、それでは今までと何も変わらず手術をしてもらうようお願いしても応じてくれる飼い主さんはなかなかいません。
未来の不幸な命を増やさないために、どうかご理解いただけますようお願いいたします。
※手術申し込み者へのプレゼントのお米代はゼロイバ寄付金、その他寄付金及び税金から捻出することはありません。

私たちゼロイバは県内でも特に野犬の多い地域を中心に、野犬の捕獲・保護、医療をかけ、家庭犬としてのトレーニング、そして里親さまへの譲渡までを行う活動をしています
現在、捕獲のための資材購入、捕獲した犬の不妊手術、初期医療などを行う資金が不足しています

野犬成犬メス1頭とその子犬たち
（捕獲時生後3週齢）5頭を捕獲しました。
今回捕獲した成犬メス（仮名のの）は、
ののの母犬（仮名トコ）と、小美玉市内の民家の
ある田舎町に居着いていました。
通学途中の小学生に吠え立てて追いかけて困る、
と長年市の方に苦情が寄せられており、
市の職員さんが捕獲を試みるもなかなか捕獲機に
入ってくれず捕獲できずにいました。
何十年も前から今日まで茨城県動物指導センターには
毎日のように野犬と見られる放浪犬が収容されています。
野犬のいる地域でなかなか野犬が無くならないのは、
賢く警戒心が強く捕獲の難しい個体が一定数いるからです。
野で増え、センターに収容されます。
数年前殺処分ゼロを掲げ、達成した茨城県動物指導センター。
センターは成犬だけで
常時160頭前後と超過密、かなり逼迫状態にあります。
この負の連鎖を断ち切るには野犬自体の数を減らすしかありません。
茨城県内でも10年以上野犬の捕獲数上位にいる小美玉市。
ここ数年毎年100頭前後が茨城県動物指導センターへ
捕獲収容されています。
そのほとんどが野犬です。
それとは別に、市の職員さんが毎年100頭ほどの
子犬を保護しています。
捕獲頭数だけで言えば、年間200頭という数は野犬の
多い茨城県内でもトップクラスです。
ゼロイバラキプロジェクトでは
小美玉市・茨城町の野犬をゼロにする蛇口閉め活動を始動しました。
のの子犬たちは捕獲後いぬ助け預かり
ボランティア宅で過ごしています。
捕獲予定だったトコちゃんは、
のの捕獲当日近くの畑で亡くなっている姿が発見されました。
強く賢いトコちゃん、
もう少しで捕獲し人間との暮らしをスタートする予定でした。
とても悲しく残念でなりません。
