For those who care and don’t already know, I recently made the move to Hawaii full-time. I still love the Keys—and I’ll be back one day—but I’ve been craving a change of scenery for a while now. I’ll be working on catamarans while pursuing my captain’s license, and doing photography on the side. Figured if AI’s coming for all our jobs, I might as well learn how to live on a boat.
Right now, I’m just trying to keep life simple, call my mom as often as I can, stop overthinking everything, and enjoying the heck out of it all.

Easily one of the most incredible wildlife experiences of my life. I went down there a few years ago to work on an episode for and found a moment to snap some photos amid the underwater chaos. Grateful a few of them came out.
Mahi have been my favorite fish since I was a kid, spending countless hours trolling offshore for them with my family. But seeing them like this—thousands of them, all 20+ pounds, frenzied and feeding like a school of piranhas was next level. And that’s not even counting the striped marlin, sea lions, birds and whales that were part of this wild place.
This experience set an impossibly high standard and opened my eyes to what healthy fisheries should look like.
This will forever be the baseline I refer back to.
We met at the crack of dawn in the port city of Padang, squeezed into the bench seat of a truck destined for the Mentawai fast ferry terminal, and over the next three weeks, we traded waves, music, and laughs in one of the most wave-rich destinations in the world. Hard not become friends after that.
It was incredible watching her progress, day after day, I could see her dialing in her skills as she read the lineups, often pushing herself into better waves and learning how to navigate the sometimes crowded conditions. Her commitment to progression was inspiring, a good reminder of why I was out there myself.
The first shot in this carousel also happens to be one of my favorites from the season. The way the light hits, the moment, it just captures the energy of that session so well.
She recently released a film with the wizard maassen, and if snowboarding, surfing and art, are your thing, I can’t recommend it enough.
This was one of those days—no real plan, we just tossed all of our gear in the truck and drove until we found something worth exploring. We ended up at a beach that looked worthy of a dive, and about an hour in, he shot this Mū which came loose from the shaft. A couple minutes later, thinking it was gone for good, he spotted it floating on the surface, resulting in the reaction documented here.
So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Truly. This has been more fun and fulfilling than I ever could’ve imagined.

But such is life; it demands we replenish our bank accounts for the next adventure, which promises to be equally captivating, albeit in a more distant locale.
Almost every photo here was captured in South Florida, spanning from Miami Beach to the Dry Tortugas and various spots in between. The final photo was taken in Maine, featuring my good friends and during the first week I ever had a camera. It holds a special place for me as one of the first photos I was truly proud of. Each image represents simple yet significant moments in my photographic journey, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
