The strength it took to make it through is indescribable. No one prepares you for this.
So many people didn’t know what I was going through during my pregnancy because I never let it show. I showed up to work, smiled, and kept going while dying inside. I carried the weight of being told my baby might not make it. Doctors pushed for termination and told me that even if she did survive, she wouldn’t be able to do basic things. From crying every day, to spending 20 days in the NICU living at the hospital day in a day out. Watching your child be put through so much tests and medical procedures was not easy.
But we serve an amazing God.
God’s report is the only report I believe. I placed everything in His hands. No matter the death sentence spoken over your baby, keep pushing. God is SO good. If this testimony can help 1 mother then I feel fulfilled.
The amount of trials I faced on top of this was unreal. The enemy tried to break me — and failed. Deep down, I knew God was with us. He is a God of miracles.
