Ingredients
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 4 tbsp cocoa powder
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp vanilla essence
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup oil or melted butter
• ½ cup milk
• 4 tbsp hot water
• Chocolate frosting (as required)
👩🍳 Method
1. In a bowl, add flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder. Mix well.
2. Add sugar, egg and vanilla essence. Mix until smooth.
3. Add milk, oil, hot water and gently mix to make a lump-free batter.
4. Grease a 8-9 inch nonstick pan, pour in the batter.
5. Place frying pan on stove(cover with lid).
6. Cook for 15–20 minutes:
• First 10 minutes on low–medium heat
• Then low heat until done
7. Check with a toothpick. Let cool slightly.
8. Spread chocolate frosting on top and enjoy! 😍
