Wij hebben inmiddels al een aantal jaren een airco op onze slaapkamer en zijn hier, zeker nu met de hitte, enorm blij mee! Iets wat ik echt een doorn in het oog vind en niet graag in het zicht wou hebben. Uiteindelijk bedachten we deze hack, de airco plaatsen op het wandje direct naast het raam, waardoor de oh zo lelijke buizen perfect achter de gordijnen zouden lopen en ver uit het zicht zijn. Wat mij betreft echt een win win situatie!
En een tip die ik maar al te graag deel nu "airco" de meestgezochte zoekterm is van de dag ๐

Oorspronkelijk kozen we voor een standaard douchewand, maar uiteindelijk werd het een douchewand op maat. Een keuze waar ik nog steeds ongelooflijk blij mee ben en die ik zo opnieuw zou maken. Het is een aanpassing die een paar honderd euro extra kost, maar echt een enorm verschil maakt voor de luxe uitstraling van je badkamer. Je hebt namelijk geen extra bevestigingsstangen nodig, je zit niet vast aan standaardafmetingen รฉn je kunt de douchewand door laten lopen tot aan het plafond, waardoor alles รฉรฉn strak geheel wordt.
Onze douchewand heeft een breedte van 120 cm en een hoogte van 243 cm, zodat deze perfect aansluit op de ruimte. Hij is gemonteerd met U-profielen in de vloer, wand รฉn het plafond, waardoor extra bevestigingsstangen niet nodig zijn. Terwijl die profielen qua materiaal uiteindelijk maar enkele tientjes kosten ๐๐ป

Wat als ik je vertel dat ik onze houten trap รฉรฉn keer per 2 ร 3 jaar bijwerk in slechts 30 minuten tijd, waarna we weer jarenlang genieten van een strakke witte trap ๐๐ป Ook hoeven we niet uren- of dagenlang te wachten tot we weer over de trap kunnen lopen. Ik lak de trap namelijk in รฉรฉn keer van boven naar beneden en na 30 minuten is het droog genoeg om er weer overheen te lopen op sokken ๐๐ป
Mijn inbox ontplofte gisteren toen ik dit deelde en ik kreeg ontzettend veel vragen over hoe ik dit aanpak en welke lak of verf ik hiervoor gebruik.
Ik zal mijn geheim met je delen. Dit is absoluut niet de enige of beste methode om het aan te pakken, maar voor ons werkt het perfect! Deze tips zijn ook niet geschikt voor een houten trap die je vanaf nul wilt gaan aflakken, maar vooral voor als je je gelakte houten trap strak wilt houden, zodat hij er altijd als nieuw uit blijft zien โจ๏ธ
Als eerste heb ik de trap stofvrij gemaakt met een Swiffer en licht vochtig afgenomen. Dit is het enige wat ik doe voordat ik begin met aflakken. Ik gebruik de speciale traplak van Sigma: S2U Nova Soft Satin in de kleur RAL 9010, maar je kunt deze laten mengen in elke gewenste kleur. Dit is gelijk het grootste geheim en de beste tip voor een altijd strakke trap. Deze traplak heeft een antisliplaagje (dat niet verdwijnt door bijvoorbeeld schoonmaken),dekt in รฉรฉn laag, is slijtvast en krasvast, droogt ongelooflijk snel en is supermakkelijk aan te brengen ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐จ
Vanaf het begin heb ik onze trap gelakt met deze traplak en we zijn zรณ tevreden over het resultaat. Omdat deze lak niet verkleurt, is het bijwerken zo gepiept zonder dat je kleurverschil ziet. Het geheim zit hem hierbij echt in het gebruik van de juiste verf โจ๏ธ
