I’ve been quiet lately. Every time I go to post, I get stuck on what to say. There’s so much happening in the world, and it often feels strange to talk about the things that have brought me joy when so much around us feels like a dumpster fire.
But I’m learning that reflecting on our feelings—and still celebrating the small and big wins—can be grounding when life feels heavy.
This year, I started two new jobs, neither of them makeup-related. I spent a lot of time feeling like I wasn’t a makeup artist anymore. Which is silly.
But this ended up being the year I found my creative community. I met people who have genuinely changed my life. I learned, I grew, and I rediscovered my artistry in a way I didn’t expect.
When I look at these images of myself, I don’t just see me. I see the incredible team of artists who showed up, supported me, and brought their magic. I got to be part of so many shoots that now live rent-free in my mind—moments filled with learning, laughter, and electric creative energy.
Thank you to my creative community… but especially Mar.

The Floral Recovery Calming Mask by is one of my favourite masks of all time. I use this mask often, and in a plethora of ways... When working with clients who have dry and/or dehydrated skin - and especially those clients who’ve recently gotten sprays tans on their face - this mask is an absolute necessity.
I actually didn’t try this face mask for a long time. The name really threw me off. I saw the word floral - and immediately thought it would probably have fragrance - which I tend to avoid when working on clients with sensitive, dry skin. BUT - this mask is fragrance-free, ULTRA soothing - and it has a nice, thick, moisturizing consistency that quickly soaks into the skin.
I used this mask as skin prep - and as an all over moisturizer on Lauren’s skin, before going in with a longwear foundation. It created the perfect moisturized barrier for the FULL GLAM that we created, building and switching Lauren’s makeup throughout a 20 hour day of modelling / speaking / walking the runway and being in interviews.
I’ve also used this mask as an under-eye moisturizer on clients who have really dry skin, and as a general moisturizer for hand massages. Yes, my clients get treated like rockstars. That’s the point!!!
