We’ve had the most incredible time gracing Johnston Street for the past ten days. We packed so much into our short time and are feeling nothing but blessed after meeting so many of you in IRL. We now reluctantly say goodbye to our shop in Fitzroy, energised about the idea of coming back in the not so distant future.
Our Pop-up might be over but we’ve not gone far. You can still shop with us on our Aus website and our Melbourne-Naarm office is now fully up and running - ready to help you with all your frame needs.

Sabrina Raso first met us in London several years ago so this was her opportunity to reverse roles and take us on a visual journey to champion some local profiles through her distinctive yet signature creative gaze.
This campaign with photographic support from presents a multi-media insight into our new city bringing together local designers, aesthetics and creatives.
Our first profile is Ingrid, someone deeply engrained in the Melbourne fashion scene - we’ve lost count of the amount of times her images on our pop-up wall have been pointed out by visitors to the store.

The focus for this collaborative campaign was simple - work local, champion local creative, build true connection with our new city surrounds.
What an evening spent with new Hot Futures friends and long term supporters. It’s a privilege to be here at 28 Johnstone Street, Fitzroy for the next 9 days.

It’s been a wild 48 hours pulling together our store in the heart of Fitzroy. We couldn’t have done it without the incredible people who have helped us along the way. From Bernie and Shamus (chief builders 🔨) to the different Melbourne businesses who have supported us at every step. Every act of micro (and macro) kindness we’ve received has blown us away.

Back in 2022, Claudia joined our London team fresh off the plane from Melbourne. A few months ago, Claudia was ready to come home. Bringing Hot Futures to Australia had always been a dream of ours and with Claudia returning to Melbourne, the stars were aligned.
We’re super proud of our small but mighty team which has been working hard over the past few months to set everything up and make sure that we can give the same customer focussed experience to our Australian customers as we do now from London. If you’re in Australia, our Australia website is now live (!) and our Aus team will now support you with orders, prescription services and everything else - this also means fast shipping and no import taxes and fees.
As a local to global brand we have been lucky to meet people from around the world within our stores in London. This time it’s our turn to buy the ticket, fasten our seatbelts and take a leap into a new time-zone to seek out new people, connection and creativity.
To celebrate our arrival in Melbourne we’ve got exciting plans including a Launch Party and December Pop-up Shop in the heart of Fitzroy.
