A project we enjoyed developing: the masterplan for the Agglomeration of Grenchen, commissioned in 2024. Located in one of the largest continuous employment zones in the canton of Solothurn, this site plays a key role in strengthening the Capital Region as a whole. In collaboration with the municipalities of Grenchen and Bettlach, the canton is actively supporting its long-term transformation.
An urban logic emerges through interconnected loops of production and the city. Industry is no longer isolated, but embedded within a living system where production, innovation, and public space interact.This dialogue between economic activity and the urban environment supports the gradual transformation of a territory in transition, enhancing its vitality, diversity, and everyday quality of use.
The masterplan defines a shared vision towards 2040+, guiding future development through coordinated, resource-conscious approaches to spatial planning and mobility.

Oberwil, CH
Ongoing architectural project
Last year, our proposal was selected for the Kerngarten housing development in Oberwil. The design responds to the hillside topography and surrounding urban fabric through two staggered, multi-angled volumes that sit naturally within the landscape. A central green space connects the buildings, creating a gradient of shared and private outdoor areas.
The restrained height and articulated façades reflect the local scale, while flexible layouts allow for generous, well-oriented living spaces. Built with a timber–concrete hybrid structure, the project prioritizes sustainability and long-term adaptability. More on our website.

Christoph Merian Primary School, Basel
For this renovation and extension, the existing concrete structure becomes the base for a new layer of interventions.
Through minimal gestures, we work with what is already there, enhancing its qualities.
Exposed, refined, and reinterpreted, the concrete fabric is carved and articulated through a range of details — from the facade expression to the dialogue between concrete and wood, down to the handrails — shaping a calm, domestic atmosphere for education.
The ongoing construction is an unique moment in experiencing this inherited skeleton and its qualities.

Bahnhofplatz Bushof Dietikon
Status: ongoing
The project reshapes the urban centre by reorganising movement and public space: bus stops are arranged on two islands, removing heavy traffic in front of the station and consolidating the station square, while establishing a clear connection from Zürcherstrasse to the station building.
A generous canopy of trees frames the new square, while the bus islands offer spaces for both transit and pause. Built in timber and Corten steel, they introduce a warm, durable and circular material language.
A place of connections and encounters, with space of stay— sometimes lively, sometimes calm, sometimes distinctly urban. Open to travellers and passersby, workers and visitors, night owls and daydreamers.

The timber structure of the Rowing Club is almost complete. Its assembly joints bring together the two dynamic roof slopes, while the design—inspired by traditional timber-framed boathouses—blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. The clear roof profile gives the building a distinctive presence within the green framework.
Part of the masterplan for the Elbinselquartier in Wilhelmsburg, this project has been underway since our competition win in 2016.

We’re excited to share our winning proposal for a new district in Berlin!
What if living at the edge of the city meant living with nature, not next to it?
Instead of treating the site as an expansion zone, the 73-hectare agricultural landscape becomes the project’s foundation — a living framework connecting neighbourhoods, ecosystems, and communities.
Five neighbourhoods shape the district, each embedded in a continuous green network. At its core, a shared landscape becomes a social and ecological catalyst.
The project redefines suburban living — where proximity to nature, strong community structures, and diverse living environments come together. Prefabricated housing is deployed to create identity, variation, and spatial richness at every scale.
