Another year flashed by, and I don’t feel ready for this year’s Art VS. Artist 🙈⚡
While 2024 felt like a hustler year, where I sprinted through everything, 2025 felt like a long marathon trying to not run out of breath 🏃♀️
This year, I challenged myself with going back to a bit of fanart and participating in/organising artist alley stamp rallies. I was in 7 stamp rallies throughout the year, and it was a lot of fun collaborating with many artists and friends, whilst pushing myself to draw more. Connecting with fans in the same fandoms, has also been a highlight of the year, and added extra fun to my cons 💖
I think my 2026 post will look different, as I’m focusing less on illustrations and more on designs. I remember last year, I was disappointed that I hadn’t been able to finish more illustrations. This year, I accepted that I can’t push my creativity, even if I feel like I need to practice and draw more.
2026 will be a year I need to slow down and truly learn how to balance work and down-time. Thank you for all the support this year 🙏 You’ve all been part of making another year possible, and I’m forever grateful 💜
