Found a spot that serves the most interesting beers! They’ve got saturated ales, authentic lagers, and cocktail inspired fruit beers for the flavour curious. We tried the PB and J Milkshake beer and we were blown away. Definitely on the sweeter side, it’s so interesting it works! Highly recommend if you’re looking to try new flavours. If you’re not sure what to get, I’d go for their flagship flight which pairs 4 of their beers with 4 tacos. Personally our favourite was the Baja Fish Taco.
Check them out during power hour for $6 pours and $4 chips and queso/guacamole/pico de gallo!

Since coming back from Japan, I’ve been craving an authentic izakaya experience. So glad to say I’ve found one here in Toronto. Kyushu Yakitori boasts top notch, high quality, Japanese style skewers and tapas. Honestly, I loved everything on their menu. It was my first time trying tsubugai (whelk and butter soy sauce skewer) and I was blown away by how delicious it tasted. I also highly recommend the melt in your mouth A5 wagyu skewer. The flavours truly brought me back, it’s exactly like when I had wagyu in Japan, so nostalgic. Some of my other favourites were the uni cream udon, hotate carpaccio that features lemon dashi jelly, and wagyu tataki. Of course, the drinks are just like what you’d get in Japan. Balanced, boozy, and presented in that same glass mug. We ended the night with a rich and creamy hojicha tiramisu, which had a strong roasted tea flavour. The perfect finish to a fantastic night out.
I’m definitely going to come back to this spot. Next time I look forward to trying their late night menu which features a japanese snack set and drinks at a discounted price!

Currently in Japan and had to visit the famous Hat Coffee! You can either bring in a photo for custom 3D latte art or go with the “Simple” 2D option and let the barista surprise you. Of course, I had to get a 3D version of my pup —too cute to resist.
We ordered a hazelnut latte (with the custom 3D art) and a cafe latte (with surprise simple art). Both drinks leaned on the sweeter side, but the whole experience was absolutely worth it. I couldn’t stop smiling!
