You know what sucks! The new owner doesnt embrace that he lives in Nancy's house from the series. He actually runs off people from what I hear. I have been photographing the home for years. I even have actual photographs I have taken. Why move into a house if you know the history. The house is just as famous as Freddy. I just dont get people. I took these in the early 2000s. 157 days left! I was almost 7 when nightmare came out. I watched it in the movies. Thanks Eddie and Lydia. It became one of my favorites.
Here's some trivia...
New Line Cinema was saved from bankruptcy by the success of the film, and was jokingly nicknamed "The House that Freddy Built".
All of the boiler room footage in the film was shot in the basement of the Lincoln Heights Jail in Los Angeles, which was condemned shortly after production wrapped, due to high levels of asbestos.
The scene where Freddy is set on fire, chases Nancy to the top of the stairs, falls back down, and starts back up again, was all shot in one take, with several cameras, and was the most elaborate fire scene ever filmed up to that time. Stuntman Anthony Cecere was supposed to only run up the stairs, then lie down and be extinguished, but he improvised the falling and run back up again. He won best stunt of the year for the scene.
Over 500 gallons of fake blood were used during filming.

I was spending more time with the dead than the living. Its has always been a familiar in my life. When you start losing people when your young you get used to the quiet. The solitude. Cemetery’s and graveyards serve as a powerful reminder to stay present and appreciate your own life. To explore and make life a adventure. Do not take one single day for granted. When peoole were asked what their biggest regrets were in life. Working too much and not spending enough time with their kids and parents were their biggest regrets.

When I lived in Texas I seen a couple sites... I lost the pictures... I never seen their graves my friend Peter went and sent me pictures. When I lived in Texas I went by a bank that was held up by the outlaw lovers. There was a plaque. That was 2001 I lost all the pictures.

The "Gothic CVS" in East Los Angeles is actually the historic Golden Gate Theatre, a lavish movie palace built in 1927, which was converted into a pharmacy in 2012. It was damaged in the Whittier quake in 1987.
I'm not sure if most of you know this, But.. I was born in East L.A. In Montebello to be exact.. Then was raised in whittier in my grade school years. And attended "Whittier christian" that explains it all huh haha 😄
So basically I'm just going back to my roots lately. And what a delight it was to visit this today. The Gothic CVS. In once was a beautiful theatre. The world is a stage darlings.
It looks like a vampire lair. But I always think of vamps. Even at my age now, They have always been a favorite. That and Freddy kerugar.
This place doesn’t feel like a pharmacy. It feels like a building pretending to be one. Like a church. Like a Gothic cathedral.
And I love it. It feels like home.
The Gothic arches loom
overhead like they were never meant to shelter cough syrup and receipts (scarves lol) The walls feel beautifully heavy, older than the street traffic outside, like they’ve absorbed every decade of Whittier Boulevard. As a teenager who used to cruise whittier blvd I had to stop by. I always wanted to go. The lighting hums, shadows linger too long, and there’s an unmistakable sense of being watched when you stand still. It was so cool! You see I love this stuff. It feeds me inner soul. Call me morbid call me pale... (The smiths)
Then I asked the cashier helping me. Is it haunted? How do I like working in the Gothic CVS?
“Yeah… this place is haunted.”
We get a lot of paranormal people. I said again. Is it cool working at the Gothic CVS? He said yes till you are here all alone at 5 am and the doors all open! He said it's happened tp him. He was so cool. I thanked him..
Maybe it’s the architecture. Maybe it’s what the building remembers. Either way, this is one CVS I'll make it a point to come too!

This is the unfinished stone remains of a famous 1800s stagecoach inn near Mammoth Cave National Park. The original wooden tavern burned down around 1859–1860, and the owners started rebuilding it in stone, but the Civil War halted construction permanently. The ivy-covered stone walls still stand today.
Ghosts are said to roam through the rumble. So of course I had to see it for myself!

The Old Washoe Club is considered to be very “haunted” or the most haunted place in Virginia City. They say because of its violent Old West history and decades of ghost stories tied to this building. And when I say decades of stories I mean decades. Lots of bodies!
It was originally a wealthy gentlemen’s club and saloon during the silver boom in the 1870s. Virginia City was a rough mining town full of accidents, shootings, disease, prostitution, and deaths. According to local legends, several tragic events happened in or around the club, including murders, suicides, and bodies temporarily stored in the basement crypt during harsh winters when the ground was too frozen to bury people. The crypt as it is known has had people catch full body apparitions. EVPs and its always cold in there. I took the time to go into the crypt by myself and just sat there. I had a weird sensation but nothing I would call full blown paranormal.
Ghost adventures and Ghost hunters have been there. And me. And I can't wait to go back! The crypt and the famous spiral staircase are worth it.
The ghosts are as follows. Lena or the “Lady in Blue,” said to be a murdered prostitute seen near the spiral staircase.
A young girl supposedly killed in the basement.
An old miner or prospector ghost blamed for moving bar stools and drinking unattended whiskey shots.
A ghost that drinks alcohol. What a party animal from beyond the grave. Thank you I can't wait to get back to virginia city!

February 28th 1997. A friday.
A bank robbery went wrong... Very wrong. I remember watching it LIVE. And thinking these are guy are fucking nuts and they are not going down without a fight.
Bank of America in N Hollywood was held up by two individuals. Dressed in homemade aramid. Body Armour. They sprayed their guns everywhere. Of course while wearing their homemade body armour. They shot off about 1100 rounds of ammunition in the act of the first 20 minutes.
The two met at golds gym in venice. Bonded. You know weight lifting. Bodybuilding. Guns.
1995 they did their first armored truck robbery. Shooting both guards with ak-47s... the guards survived. Their next one... they failed. Ditched their vehicle and set it on fire.. After they graduated to bank robberies. FBI put their accumulated net worth at 1.6 million at that time. The AK 47 bandits were on a mission! The media changed their names to the high incident bandits
Then... Feb 28 1997
It was on a single building lot. Freeway access and the perfect stage. For the perfect heist. They watched HEAT on repeat.
Level 3 aramid was strapped on. Larry phillips took days sewing and cutting the body armour. An array of weapons. They knew it was on....
They knew... if they got caught they would get life.
9:17 am... firing rounds into the ceiling. Declaring... "This is a hold up"
303,000 which was a lot less than the 2.1 million they were looking to score.
The shootout was so bad officers had to go into a gun shop to fight back..BnB guns.. Only people that had that kind of fire power was the swat team. And on that particular day they were downtown in a training at a police academy.
Larry Phillips was 26 years old. Emil Mătăsăreanu was 30 years old. They had already robbed a couple banks before. They had also robbed a Armour car. They were on all accounts ruthless killers. And did their research
They both wore timers and set them for 8 mins.

My friend who lived there took me on a tour all through it. Even though I had stayed years ago, I didn't explore every floor like this time.
But when we did ride the elevator it broke down... then also.
He has since moved, and it's almost impossible to get in now...
The cecil and me will always be connected through the Documentary on Netflix. Since I was in that. And because of that, I feel even more sorry for Elisa.. and all the other people who have died there. R.I.P Elisa Lam and all the others.
