Holy sh*t, can you believe we pulled that off!?

Adam is on cycle 2 and treatment 4 of chemotherapy and immunotherapy for Stage 3c liver cancer. So far he hasn’t had many side effects other than being really fatigued. No nausea or other common side effects, so we are grateful for that. He also got his favorite nurse, Ryan, today — so it’s a good day!
His color is much better. He was pretty pale prior to treatments. He lost around 30lbs but has gained 4-5 back 💪.
His white blood cells are in normal range (yay!), his red blood cells are a little low (anemia). His main liver enzymes continue to drop but are still elevated which is to be expected. The drops are really good signs. His other two markers raised slightly from last week, which they say is normal from chemo.
He gets his histotripsy procedure on Tuesday to get rid of the two small tumors, so stop reading real quick and say a prayer for a successful procedure AND that the procedure provides the sometimes secondary benefit of wiring your immune system to attack the larger tumor once it reads the code of the destroyed tumor tissue. 🙏
