• Place the stencil and secure it • Apply mixed media paste using a palette knife • Spread evenly without overworking it • Carefully lift the stencil and let it dry completely

• Take an MDF coaster + a pretty decoupage paper
• Trace the coaster shape on the paper
• Cut it according to the measurement
• Spray paint the back + sides of the coaster
• Apply deco magic glue
• Stick the paper onto the coaster
• Seal it with another layer of deco glue

I primed the surface with gesso and hand-painted these little tile-inspired motifs using acrylic paints. I love how vibrant and playful they turned out 🤎 Finished everything with varnish to protect the paint and give them a neat finish.
Such a fun beginner-friendly DIY and honestly so relaxing to paint!

So I thought it would be easier for all of you if I posted super detailed instructions in the caption along with the video. So here goes nothing!
✨ Step-by-step guide to upcycling an old metal cupboard:
1️⃣ Thoroughly clean the cupboard—I mean every corner!
2️⃣ Remove old stickers. I have two methods:
• Method 1: Use a steam iron to heat the sticker, then peel it off.
• Method 2: Use my magic spray (Comment “Link” to get the details!)
3️⃣ Sand the entire surface using medium-grit sandpaper.
4️⃣ Cover areas you don’t want to paint with newspaper or plastic.
5️⃣ Apply zinc yellow anti-rust primer (you’ll find this at any local paint store).
6️⃣ Once the primer is dry, paint using enamel paint—this is important! Do not use any other type of paint, as it won’t be durable. You can even use enamel spray paint for easier application.
7️⃣ Detailing time! Use stencils and a sponge brush. Dab the paint slowly for crisp lines—I’ve learned from my mistakes when I first flipped this cupboard! Do not dab harshly like I did back then.
8️⃣ Once the paint is dry, peel off the covered areas and admire your masterpiece! You just saved a damaged piece from going into the trash—be proud of yourself! ♻️✨
