We were naive and blissfully unaware of what this life would ask of us, but we stepped into it anyway.
One day, one hard lesson at a time.
We found a little home in the woods on 10-acres and just started.
After my Dad passed in 2018, I had a strong desire to run; we tried moving out of State but nothing felt right.
So instead, we stayed and learned.
We taught ourselves how to fence, bought unregistered Highlands, sourced local hay, and somewhere along the way, we completely fell in love with this way of life.
Eventually we outgrew those 10 acres.
We found a place in a town we’d never heard of and took a chance.
We packed up our 2 babies (at the time), our cattle, and our dreams and started over.
Paycheck by paycheck, we’ve been building this life.
Each year brings more work and more reward.
We’ve gained knowledge we didn’t have, made mistakes we’ll never forget, and grown a deep respect for the farmers and ranchers who’ve been doing this far longer than we have.
We didn’t come from this world, but we’re proud to be part of it now.

We are a family of four who started a Highland Cattle Ranch in a gated neighborhood until we took it across the mountains and planted ourselves in a town we’d never heard of and called it home.
We spend a lot of time cooking our meals from scratch and gluten free (Keith found out he had celiac in 2017)
We love design and home DIY projects and plan on renovating our entire home to make it ours.

On the hottest of summer days to coldest of winter nights, from the biggest joy filled grins to the tears of sadness we swept off our faces, it’s out here in these fields that we found ourselves again.
This wild desire was placed on our hearts during a dull point in our lives and we are so thankful that we took the chance to find a place to make our souls happy.
