Throwback Thursday energy on a Sunday… full circle moment 💕
Flew to Toronto for a hot minute in March for the Dean’s Masterclass at The Glenn Gould School, and it honestly felt like stepping back into a really important chapter of my life.
This is the place where I really grew up—musically, yes, but also as a human. Walking back into those halls and then somehow being the one at the front of the room, working with students learning from the same teachers who shaped me… it felt a little surreal, and a lot humbling.
Flew in the day of, taught, laughed, remembered a lot, and then was right back out the next morning for an American Brass Quintet tour. A blink-and-you-miss-it trip, but one that meant so much.
Really grateful for the time, the memories, and the chance to come back to a place that will always feel like home hope it was as meaningful on the other side too, haha
