Built starting in 1850 and completed at the end of the 19th century, this residence was the nest of a high-society family, marked by its fetish colors: white and pink. It was the home of a wealthy Italian count, an emblematic figure and benefactor of his city, whose economic and social impact was significant. Not only did he found several companies, boosting local employment, but he also contributed to the construction of the city’s first hospital with a generous donation.
The villa went through various periods, serving as the SS headquarters during World War II, before welcoming a famous circus family, and then a wealthy family that made it their residence until their bankruptcy. Despite the interest of many buyers, it was eventually abandoned after the sale of its furniture in 1990. In 2004, an industrialist attempted to save it with a restoration project, but it was already too late. Today, despite its abandonment and degradation, the villa retains the charm of its glorious past, testifying to the rich and complex history it has lived.

🔱Built in 1730 in an elegant blend of neoclassical and rococo styles, this nymphaeum is dedicated to the god Poseidon, carefully concealed in the heart of a vast wooded park. Unfortunately, despite apparent preservation efforts, this place has been neglected for many years, undergoing a slow and persistent degradation.
The central sculpture features Poseidon, wielding his trident, proudly standing against a dolphin from which water springs forth. A testament to history, even described by Montesquieu in one of his works.
