代々木建築巡りの最終回、先日代々木公園内の「ドトールパークカフェYOYOGI」に立ち寄りました…🚶
このエリアは戦後1946年〜米軍の宿舎群が建設され、ワシントンハウスと呼ばれていました…その後1964年東京五輪で選手村として活用、その中の一棟がオリンピック記念宿舎として残されていましたが、そちらをカフェとしてリニューアルして今年4月にオープン🏡…実は築80年ほど経つわけですね…🤔よくぞ残してくれました🎵

昨日の続きです…🚶ミュージアム見学を終えて、疲れたので「杜のテラス☕🌲」で一休み…いつも外国人観光客中心に混み合っていますが、この時は珍しく席が少し空いていました😊
ミュージアム同様、こちらも杜と一体感を感じる優しい木の設え…実際に明治神宮御造営時の枯損木も利用されて造られているそうです…神宮の杜のコンセプト…「再生・循環」を体現した素敵なカフェ☕です🎵
