約8万社の神社をまとめる神社本庁から、最高位の称号「長老」を授与された高千穂神社の後藤俊彦宮司との対談をさせて頂きました。
『神楽を取り入れたダンスを、日本の美しい景色と雄大な自然の中で魅せる映像を世界に発信したい』
映像クリエイターの「ゆう。」さんとスタートしたKAGURA PROJECT
ストリートダンスと神楽の融合、私の理念である、
和魂洋才の想いを話させて頂き、後藤宮司から
「貴方方の取り組みは異端かもしれない。しかし、多くの人々に
神楽を知ってもらい、若い世代への継承にも繋がっている。
その道を極めなさい」
と、温かく力強いお言葉を頂戴しました。
さらに、映像作品についても大変光栄なお褒めの言葉を賜り、 私たちの挑戦を後押ししてくださいました。
そして、神楽の奥深い歴史と、日本人の精神性、さらには武士道に宿る凛とした心意気を直接お教えいただき、身の引き締まる思いで胸がいっぱいになりました。
ストリートダンスの自由で即興的な表現と、神楽が持つ所作や祈りの深みを重ね合わせ、舞台作品としてだけでなく、映像を通じて 日本の美しさ、精神の芯の部分を世界へ届けてまいります。また、国境を越え、世代をまたいで響き合う、共感と感動の波を広げられるよう、ひとつひとつ丁寧に心を込めて取り組んで参ります。
