We chartered a trimaran… which got swapped for a catamaran before the trip even started. Then came a week of cold Mistral winds, barely any proper kite conditions, and a long list of absolute Sardinia fails. 😅
Just a few highlights:
– €20 taxi ride for 700 meters
– Running out of water and 2nd tank not accessible
– 2 missions to rescue the dinghy
– toilet & “mystery tank” disasters
– jetski kiter & kite rescues
– almost running aground
– accidentally entering a forbidden zone
– almost getting arrested in a nature reserve
– and somehow an exploding Fanta was fixing the mood for a moment 🥲
Honestly… almost nothing went according to plan. But somewhere between all the chaos, salty gear, broken systems, cold wind and nonstop improvising, this trip became something really special.
Because in the end, it’s never the perfect conditions you remember most — it’s the people, the stories and the moments you’ll laugh about for years. ❤️
