My Kali Love stepped up her skills this season and truly developed her own love for this sport. Balancing being Coach Ryan & Mommy made her season even harder than her teammates but when she came to me before showcase and asked me “What was I doing wrong back here so I can fix it when we perform?” I knew it had all been worth it.
I could not be prouder of the growth that both girls had this season. Forever forever their biggest fan and personal cheerleader.

Yesterday the youngest elite team won Grand Champions of the entire competition! Receiving their highest score of the season, out scored levels 1-7! What made this moment so big for us wasn’t the actual win, it was what this team pushed through over the last week! An unexpected injury caused us to have to not only work a new athlete in but also teach her how to backspot😮💨. We’ve had a fairly stress free season with the SS Gang, but the last week had us shook. But we kept looking at each other and saying they make the hard so easy!
So proud of the SS Gang and soo grateful for the parents that surround them! The regular season ends and we’re ready for redemption at The One!

1. I had to start over. Being a new principal again was challenging. I knew I had it in me I didn’t know if I could have the same impact a second time.
2. My life outside of school has been in shambles the last 3 years. Showing up for a school community when you’re barely holding on is A LOT.
3. I absolutely LOVE being a school leader. It truly brings me joy serving a school community and shifting the educational experience for students.
Although I didn’t win the BIG title, to be recognized by PGCPS and identified as the best of the best is truly humbling. So excited for all God has planned next for me because my best ain’t even here yet 🙌🏽🙌🏽.
