Paris-based British-Australian vocalist Hetty Kate has spent twenty years touring jazz across 28 countries, including five years as featured vocalist with James Morrison and major symphony orchestras. An Australian Jazz Bell Award winner with eleven albums to her name, US critic Michael Steinman described her as „an intuitive jeweller who knows how to present even the smallest stone so that it gleams memorably.“ Her latest release, Jazz in Four Seasons: Vol. 1, Spring, was recorded in Prague with Czech musicians and is the first in a four-album series capturing the seasons in cities around the world.
For this concert, Hetty is joined by Czech guitarist Libor Šmoldas. Described by London Jazz News as „the leading Czech guitarist,“ Libor is known for his melodic warmth and has toured and recorded with James Morrison, Bobby Watson, and Jon Faddis among others.
