If you’ve noticed I’ve posted a lot about skating lately, I just learned to skate as an adult and feel like I’ve unlocked so many new adventures 😂 Skating on Mildred Lake was such a highlight for me. A groomed skating loop right on a frozen lake, surrounded by the rockies?! It honestly felt unreal.
Good to know before you go:
-You don’t need to stay at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to skate here
-It’s located inside Jasper National Park (park pass required)
-The skating loop is maintained in winter, with hockey rinks nearby
-Skate rentals are available at the lodge’s Winter Activity Centre if you don’t have your own
-This is natural lake ice, so conditions can change, make sure to always skate safely
