Watching snow monkeys soak in hot springs was a true bucket list moment for us 🥹 It’s a bit of a trip from Tokyo, but 100% worth the effort.

This place feels unreal. It looks like something straight out of a movie set and is easily one of the most impressive bookstores we’ve ever visited. Photos don’t fully capture how stunning it is.

Driving through the real streets of Tokyo in costumes was SO fun. We got to pick our own outfits and cruised past Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo Tower, and other iconic spots for about 2 hours 😍 It really felt like real-life Mario Kart in Japan 🥹
Pro tip: you need your driver’s license + an international driving permit (IDP) to drive (single riders only). You can get your IDP at your local AAA 🪪
