We have had a weird winter and still have no snow, but this October day had snow and bright fall colors. In my 13 years of being a photographer I have never experienced this. Pretty cool!

When Ben’s mom reached out and mentioned that Ben loves to cook and plans to go to culinary school I was so excited for his session. Something new and different! He made some Caprese crostini for the session and gave me some to try after. It was AMAZING!
We talked about his plans for culinary school, and how he got a nice knife set as a gift from his brother. I asked his mom what his best dish is and she named a few and said everything he makes is amazing. I could tell after just this one! I can’t wait to see where culinary school takes Ben!

I took a few weeks off between the holidays and getting sick! I am finally starting to feel like myself again and will hopefully be back to posting regularly!

Class of 2027 seniors did you know that now is the time to book your senior session? We live in a cold, and wet winter area so the best time for your senior photos is the summer or fall at the start of your senior year. This ensures warm weather, fall colors, summer colors, and gorgeous photos! Our spring is too brown and muddy for senior pictures AND all the schools in the area have fall or winter yearbook deadlines. All schools have deadlines before January. Some are even in October! So if you want your senior photos taken… message me now to book for next fall!

I got up early at 6 for this sunrise Senior session and I am so glad I did. As we started taking the rodeo photos for this senior a crop dusting plane flew overhead. I captured a few and he circled back around and flew over 2 more times to make sure I got multiple shots. It was awesome of whoever this farmer was and so appreciated because it made for a pretty awesome photo.
