Here are all the details:
The Victorian Plaster Ceiling Rose 500mm dia. (500mm dia) from adds so much character. I’ve been slowly adding roses throughout the house and it really feels like they belong here.
The Wisteria Maison Clear Glass Chandelier in Antique Brass from reflects the light beautifully and makes the space feel much more grand.
I colour drenched in Valspar Soft Pelican, mixed by, which softens everything and is a lovely warm shade.

The porcelain handles weren’t original, and they were on their last legs a few doors would only open with a push from the other side. So we gave them a little glow up.
I’ve replaced them with the Suffolk design solid brass knobs from in an antique brass finish. I loved how weighty and well-made they feel, and the aged brass tone works perfectly with the character of the house.
Paired with antique brass finger plates and contrasting paint, it’s those layered details that have really brought the hallway back to life.

Restoring these small details has completely changed how the hallway feels. The porcelain handles had worn away over time, leaving doors that barely functioned.
I chose solid brass knobs from in the Suffolk design with an antique finish, timeless, weighty, and in keeping with the age of the house.
Paired with antique brass finger plates sourced from an antiques fair, and a tassel, the whole space now feels more considered, and closer to how it might once have been.

This window had an old film on it that I’ve been meaning to replace for ages. I wanted something that would still let in plenty of light but give us proper privacy, and I loved this reeded effect.
Applying it was actually so satisfying (smoothing out the bubbles = oddly therapeutic 😌).
I used the Reeded Glass 1/2” Window Film by and love how it’s transformed the space without blocking the light.

I chose to have mine puddle length with pencil pleat heading.
Victorian homes can get chilly in the winter so I picked the thermal lining which helps keep the room cosy but it still lets the light through which I love. They drape so nicely and Im so pleased with them.
