الدكتور جميل حسن عطية الطهراوي
ابن رفح الأصيل، المولود بتاريخ 1/5/1956، والذي حمل اسم مدينته أينما ذهب، فكان مثالًا للعطاء والعلم والانتماء.
بدأ مسيرته التعليمية بين رفح ودولة قطر، حيث كان والده يعمل في شركة شل للبترول، فأكمل الابتدائية بين الوطن والغربة، ثم عاد ليواصل الإعدادية في رفح، والثانوية في مدرسة فلسطين بغزة، قبل أن يشق طريقه الأكاديمي المميز بالحصول على: ▪️ بكالوريوس الخدمة الاجتماعية من جامعة حلوان
▪️ ماجستير في التربية وعلم النفس من الجامعة الإسلامية
▪️ دكتوراه في الصحة النفسية من جامعة عين شمس
إضافة إلى عشرات الدورات المهنية في عدة دول.
أما مسيرته المهنية، فكانت حافلة بالعطاء والإنجاز، حيث عمل في مدارس وكالة الغوث، ثم مديرًا للمركز الجماعي برفح، وبعدها أخصائيًا اجتماعيًا في عمادة شؤون الطلبة بالجامعة الإسلامية، وكان من مؤسسي قسم الخدمة الاجتماعية بكلية الآداب، وتدرج أكاديميًا وإداريًا حتى أصبح: ▪️ مدير شؤون الطلبة

▪️ رئيس قسم الخدمة الاجتماعية
▪️ رئيس قسم التعليم الأساسي

ولم يكن عطاؤه محصورًا في الجانب الأكاديمي فقط، بل كان من الرياضيين المميزين في الكرة الطائرة وتنس الطاولة، ومدربًا لهما في عدة أندية أبرزها شباب رفح والنادي الجماعي، كما ساهم في تأسيس النادي الجماعي وكان عضوًا في مجلس إدارته.
كما أسس وترأس جمعية أصدقاء الصحة النفسية في غزة، والتي اهتمت بأسر المرضى النفسيين، وأنشأ “تكية أهل الخير” في النصيرات قبل الحرب، لتكون بابًا للخير ومساعدة المحتاجين.
وعلى الجانب الفني، امتلك الدكتور جميل موهبة الرسم والخط العربي والكاريكاتير، وكان يرسم في مجلة “الطليعة” الصادرة عن وكالة الغوث خلال سبعينيات القرن الماضي.
ورغم انتقاله للسكن في غزة ثم استقراره لاحقًا في النصيرات بسبب ظروف الحاجز العسكري في دير البلح، بقيت رفح تسكن قلبه، وظل وفيًا لأهلها وذكرياتها.
