Any woman who has been loved by a man who puts her first, respects her, anticipates her needs, values her happiness, and gives not because he expects something in return but because he genuinely loves her, should thank her stars ✨ today.

Because men like that seem to be becoming increasingly rare.

The ₹375 biryani incident has genuinely disturbed me. As a mother of two daughters, it made me think something I never thought I would say: if my girls choose not to marry, I would understand.

And I say that as someone who deeply believes in marriage.

I love the idea of marriage. I love the partnership, the friendship, the opportunity to build a life with someone who knows you inside out. I love the idea of growing together through life’s highs and lows and raising children from a place of love and commitment.

Marriage can be beautiful.

But what disturbs me is this growing mindset that basic human decency, a meal, a gift, or a date somehow entitles a man to physical intimacy.

It doesn’t.

Not morally. Not socially. Not legally.

Consent is not a reward. It is not a transaction. It is not something that can be purchased for ₹375, ₹3,750, or ₹3.75 crore.

The fact that an educated man could publicly speak as though spending money on a woman creates an expectation of access to her body is deeply concerning. If this is how some educated, urban men think openly, what does that say about the attitudes that still exist beneath the surface in a society already struggling with issues of harassment, assault, and violence against women?

Women are not objects. They are not investments. They are not vending machines where you insert money and expect intimacy in return.

Every act of affection, every relationship, every physical interaction begins and ends with one thing: consent.

And until we raise boys who understand that, we will continue failing girls who deserve better..
When women talk about postpartum weight loss, the conversation often becomes about fitting into old clothes, getting back to a certain number on the scale, or looking a certain way.

But the truth is far deeper than aesthetics.

Losing excess body fat postpartum is not about becoming smaller. It’s about becoming healthier, stronger, more energetic, and more capable of showing up for yourself and your family.

Pregnancy is one of the most incredible things a woman’s body can do. During those nine months, your body intentionally stores additional fat reserves to support your growing baby, breastfeeding, hormonal changes, and recovery. This is completely normal and necessary.

However, when excess body fat remains for years postpartum, it can contribute to a number of health concerns, including:

• Increased insulin resistance
• Higher risk of prediabetes and Type 2 diabetes
• Elevated inflammation in the body
• Increased strain on joints and lower back
• Greater risk of cardiovascular disease
• Reduced mobility and endurance
• Hormonal imbalances
• Lower energy levels and persistent fatigue

As moms, we often become so focused on caring for everyone else that we forget our own health deserves attention too.

The goal should never be rapid weight loss.

The goal should be building a body that feels strong, capable, energetic, and resilient.

And this is where strength training becomes one of the most powerful tools for postpartum recovery.

Strength training is not just about building muscle.

It helps restore the strength that pregnancy and childbirth can challenge.

That’s real transformation.

The scale may show weight loss.

But the bigger victory is gaining strength, energy, confidence, mobility, and health.

Not every child who struggles is difficult. Some are carrying stories they do not yet have words for.

In this powerful conversation with Dr. Bhavneet Bharti, Chandigarh’s first foster mother, we explore trauma, marginalisation, special needs, and the importance of looking beyond behaviour to truly understand a child.

A conversation every parent, educator, and caregiver should hear.

Everyone wants to know the secret.

The truth is, if there is ONE thing I would tell every woman trying to lose weight whether postpartum or not it is this:

Strength training is non-negotiable.

Over the years, I’ve watched people jump from one thing to another. Extreme diets. Endless cardio. Yoga. Pilates. Running. Not running. Detoxes. Challenges. Quick fixes.

But after more than a decade in fitness, and after going through two pregnancies and two major abdominal surgeries (both my babies were born via C-section), my opinion hasn’t changed.

Strength training remains the foundation.

This isn’t even my first postpartum transformation.

After my second baby, I lost the weight in just five months, and I give a huge amount of credit to strength training because it was the one thing I stayed consistent with. I trained throughout my pregnancy and, with proper medical clearance and recovery, I was back in the gym within five weeks postpartum.

The results strength training can create in your physique, metabolism, strength, confidence, and overall health are phenomenal.

But there is another reason this journey was successful:

A great coach.

People often think a coach just writes workouts and meal plans.

A good coach does much more.

They hold you accountable when motivation disappears.
They spot mistakes before they become habits.
They teach you about food instead of just restricting it.
They help you make better decisions consistently.
They guide you through setbacks.
And sometimes, they help you navigate the life stresses that are quietly sabotaging your progress.

Instead of spending hours searching Google for answers, you have someone who understands your body, your goals, and your journey.

Weight loss isn’t about finding the perfect diet.

It’s about finding a system you can trust, staying consistent, and doing the basics exceptionally well for a very long time.

No shortcuts.
No magic pills.
No hacks.

Just consistency, strength training, proper nutrition, accountability, and patience.

And trust me, the results will speak for themselves. ā¤ļø

Winning the Best Parent Fitness Influencer award šŸ†
for the second time is deeply emotional and incredibly meaningful to me.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to for not only recognizing my work, but for creating a platform that acknowledges the importance of fitness in parenting.

Having a dedicated category for parent fitness influencers speaks volumes. It empowers parents who are quietly and consistently dedicating their lives to becoming stronger - not just for themselves, but for their children. It also inspires so many other mothers and fathers to prioritize their health, showing them that their well-being matters too.

A very special thank you to Mansi Zaveri for building this platform with such sincerity and vision. Your commitment to recognizing the contributions of parents, and the many roles we juggle while raising our children, creating content, and showing up every day, means more than words can express.

To my community this belongs to you as much as it does to me. Thank you for voting, for believing in me, for supporting me through this 10-year journey. It hasn’t always been easy, but your love, trust, and encouragement have kept me going.

Being seen. Being valued. Being trusted by other parents… that is the real award.

Thank you for this honor. šŸ¤

A heartfelt thank you to for supporting and encouraging this beautiful category. I’ve personally been a huge fan of So Good for years, and it was truly special to stand there, receiving this recognition alongside a brand I genuinely believe in and trust. It made the moment even more meaningful and full circle for me. šŸ¤
Best Parent Influence – Fitness šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ†

This moment is truly special! 🄳

First and foremost, I have to say—this category itself is a massive win for parents and future generations. Because fit parents raise healthy kids, and that ripple effect will shape a healthier future for all.

For over 8 years, I’ve been dedicated to inspiring and motivating parents to prioritize their fitness. And to now be recognized for it—it’s beyond incredible.

This isn’t just my win. It’s our win—mine and my coach. If we’ve made even the smallest impact on your journey, then we’ve already won.

This award is extra special because it’s my first.
It’s not PR, it’s not paid for—it’s purely me, my community, and your unwavering love and support. And that means everything.

We win, fitness wins, and all moms win with this. šŸ†

A huge thank you to not just for this recognition, but for a powerful lesson I learned from you.

I’ve always been hesitant to ask my community for votes, comments, or support—I’ve always believed in simply doing my best and leaving the rest. But your words shifted my perspective completely:

ā€œThis is your community. You’ve worked so hard to build it, to create for them—so why feel shy to ask for their support? This is the least they can do for you, and you should be proud to ask for it.ā€

That truly hit home. And from now on, I’ll never hold back from asking my people for their support. Because you are my people. šŸ’–

Congratulations on 10 beautiful years of the KSP Awards! I’m so honored to be a part of this incredible parenting community.

Here’s to fitness, to moms, and to making a difference—together! šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ’«
