I really thought this sweatshirt was toast but it lives to see another day thanks to my helpful husband and Google Gemini 😂🙌 now, will I finally learn my lesson and stop wearing my “good clothes” when working on house projects???

And if you make the same mistake one day, know that you CAN get paint out of you act quickly!

How to get latex paint out of clothing:
1. Scrape off any excess, minimize spreading.
2. Run it under cool water back to front to help push the paint out, not further in to fibers.
3. Scrub with dawn, repeat a bunch of times.
4. For stubborn remnants soak it with rubbing alcohol and scrub again.
5. Wash it and dry it in the machine only when you’re sure you got all the paint out. 👍

Hope this helps someone else save a favorite sweatshirt 😆💕
Day 7 of my January declutter adventure I got carried away, and when the motivation strikes I gotta follow it!
For day 6 of declutter January I decided to tackle the spices/Tupperware cabinet…followed by an impulsive decision to do the pantry while I was at it! How do things expire so quickly?! 😂 it was a much needed purge of both spaces!
Rounding out the bathroom for January declutter day five! The final place we tend to accumulate clutter in this room is the cabinets above the toilet. I think the biggest game changer was introducing some BINS to help keep stuff together. There were so many little odds and ends pieces that needed a container to stay together. On to the next space!
Anyone else accumulate way too many reusable shopping bags?! 🙈🙋‍♀️

We have so many bags that clogged up this corner of our kitchen forever. I got rid of over half the bags we had (tbh could probably get rid of more), set aside a dedicated collection to keep in car, and FINALLY found the perfect storage solution to keep them contained and organized. These magnetic baskets are perfect! The magnet is super strong and the size fits plenty of bags folded up neatly. I found them on Amazon - I’ll share the link in my stories/highlights! But 10/10 recommend!
This Declutter January project was SO SATISFYING!!! And a lot of work. It’s embarrassing how long expired some of these items are - we clearly don’t need or use them, so they gotta go! This closet is no longer a disaster zone and it feels really good.
My second day of decluttering/cleaning/organizing for the month of January and I decided to tackle the office closet! That was a doozy! Moving forward I’m going to continue just focusing on one problem area of the house each day to keep it moving and exciting for myself. 🧹✨
Declutter January, let’s go! I’m ready for some serious simplifying to start off my 2026. ✨ I saw ’s reel about decluttering items based on the calendar day number (for example getting rid of 15 items on Jan 15th, etc.) for the whole month of January. It was exactly the motivation I needed to get started. Idk yet if I’ll stick with this method or just go area by one trouble area a day but regardless I’m on a mission! 🧹✨
One of my favorite things about our old victorian home is the views from one room into the next. Before we bought our house I would’ve probably said I like open concept floor plans, but I’ve come to realize I actually really love our space having more rooms. Enjoying our Christmas lights with extra layers is that much more magical ✨🎄
Like a Christmas dream 🥰✨🎄❤️
