I think as travelers, the number one question we get is “so when are you settling down?”
And for the longest, I felt pressure to answer in a way that fit into other’s vision of what “settling down” looked like - getting into a relationship, having a dog, having kids, buying a house AND very rarely traveling because your priorities are no longer adventure and expansion.
But the funny part of travel is the more I do, the more I discover, and the larger my bucket list grows 📜
I’ve learned that “settling down” looks so different for every single person and there’s no rule saying the ways of doing it are mutually exclusive to the other ✈️🏡
Planting strong roots and nurturing connection have always been a priority of mine, but I refuse to be made to feel that settling down in the traditional sense (aka cutting out adventure) is necessary to achieve it.
You can have the house, relationship, dog, career and so on while still making room for adventure. It just takes a little extra work and balance ⚖️

If there’s one thing I love as much as (if not more than) travel, it’s this dog right here. He’s the epitome of protective, loyal and insanely intelligent.
I used to always feel so torn up having to leave him for weeks on end, but after investing in a professional trainer, our reality has started to shift for the better and I’ve been able to take him along!
t’s been so exciting and such a blessing to be able to have him to join me doing what I love most. This guy runs headfirst into adventure and is so full of life, so to be able to give him the opportunity to experience these things has been incredibly special and it’s just the beginning 📸🖤🐺🤙🏼

📍I’m Egyptian-American, born, raised and based right outside of Washington DC.
♐️ I’m a Sagittarius which I feel really fits the bill on the whole “addicted to travel” thing 😬
👩🏻💻I went to Virginia Tech, got a dual degree in Biochemistry and Cybersecurity Engineering, and work in cyber security.
🎿 Outside of travel and adventuring, I love my dog Klaus, aviation, all things self-development and mindset related, skincare, spending time in the mountains and the beach, and challenging myself to try new things whether that be new foods or new sports like surfing and skiing. My favorite music depends on my mood, favorite food is Mediterranean, favorite season is autumn and favorite thing to do is capture the experience of authentically connecting with people from all walks and ways of life, all around the world.
✈️ I fell in love with my greatest passion of travel and photography accidentally when I was going through a very rough year and felt exploring Europe for a month would magically fix all my problems (lowkey kinda did, so highly recommend)
🗣️ This is my “YES” year; I’m saying yes to all the adventure, uncertainty, new aligned friends, outlandish dreams and challenges I can. I’m obsessed with overcoming fear patterns so I’m a big believer in “doing it scared” and try to practice this any chance I can.
